Great flavors, pricing and portion sizes. My dad is allergic to msg, and he didn’t get sick here. The orange chicken is great. Big chunks of meat. The chicken chow mein also has good sized chicken chunks in them. I doubt there’s anything I wouldn’t like here. We will return. The staff was attentive, too. Good customer service. The food was brought out in a good amount of time.

Wonderful food! Love it here, so glad they opened right near my parents house. I’ve gone here three times so far. We get the family dinner C for three and all the items are fabulous. I especially love the seafood tofu soup and the kung pao three kind dish. There is so much food we have enough for the next day which is perfect. The staff here is really nice and the service is wonderful.

Very good Chinese food for the area.
Service was friendly and the waiter even said our orange chicken and twice cooked pork could be made to order with extra spice. Nice touch.
One great plus is that the food was delivered piping hot as was the tea.
Of course the Dragon In is not a destination restaurant, but if you happen to be on the Foresthill Divide you could do no better.

Excellent food! I’ve been here a few times now and have been impressed each time. Their walnut shrimp was amazing and the vegetable mushu was awesome too! If you’re in Forestill looking for a good place to eat, check this place out.

Easily the best Chinese food in my area. My girlfriend, and her two daughters (mind you are the hardest little girls to get to eat ANYTHING) and myself went yesterday from hearing about it from a neighbor.
First off I gotta say I was a little sketchy being its a small place right next to a bar. At first glance you wouldn’t expect it be worth the time. But that changes instantly once you get ten feet from the door and the aromas hit you in the face like a left hook from Mike Tyson. We had the Family Dinner, which was 11.95 a person. We chose to go with just two servings being her kids are hard to please when it comes to food, whether its home cooked or from a restaurant.
As we started getting our food, we started wondering if we got the wrong order because the food just kept coming, and in portions that would rival King Henrys dinner table. As we ate, the usual «Would you like to try this» to her little ones. At first they weren’t having it, but we always try to make them try a bite usually following a «EW» or total face of disgust. Not this time, they literally ate every single thing that was served. Not only eating it, but devouring it like food was going to be going out of style.
I recommend trying this place if you have never been, in the mood for something new, or if the idea of gaining 10 pounds from stuffing your face with amazing tasting food appeals to you. If I could rate it higher then 5 stars I would in an instant and plan on making this our go to restaurant when Chinese food is in the mix, I live in Colfax and its about a 30 minute drive if not more. Put that in perspective

One of my top 5 favorite Chinese places of all times. A MUST have when I visit my cousin in Foresthill! War Wonton is spot on, and the pot-​stickers are perfect! I have had several other dishes, and all have been spot on for flavor, freshness and overall «gotta have» ability. The staff are kind, courteous and everything I have come to love and expect in this wonderful small town. ANYTIME I bring someone new, I have to make sure we stop there! I am already thinking of my next trip up the hill!

Had a reasonably priced veggie lunch, hot and sour soup and hot tea. Service was fast and friendly, the main course just what I needed, soup, egg roll and tea good. Worth the stop.

My favorite dish here is the chicken chow mein. It has the perfect savory flavor with a hint of sweetness. Their combo plates are such a good deal with a good deal with the variety of items on the dish. I do not live nearby but I always make sure to stop by when I am in the area. All the staff are extremely nice and laid back.

Tried this again and veggies tasted fresh and everything was decent. Sauces were better. Will probably go back again.
