Very good food, some of the Italian I’ve had. I usually have the chicken parm and it is excellent, the parmesean cheese is nicely toasted on top. The salad is nice with an assortment of lettuces.

Blow me away!!! You have got to try this place if you like very pleasant surprises! Outstanding quality, service and a cozy atmosphere. We have been back several times over the past several months because we just can’t believe how authentic this place is!!! Rivals any place on the hill for food quality and authenticity.

Nothing fancy which was totally fine by me. Food was excellent! Calamari app was perfectly cooked. Salads and Entrees of Chicken Parm and Lasagna were excellent. Owners Mauro and wife Cindy were very friendly and gracious. I would recommend giving them a try and you will not be disappointed.

Without a doubt, the VERY best Italian food I have ever had!!! Tried this place on a whim and we are loyal customers now! Very small restaurant, but the food is incredibly delicious. It’s located right off of Interstate 70, so I would highly recommend you stop and try it out if you are passing through! Pizzas are wonderful and their chicken Alfredo is absolutely amazing.

Amazing restaurant that goes to prove you can’t judge a book by its cover. Red sauce is excellent and handmade. We ordered pasta and we were not disappointed! My husband is very picky and he loved it. The pizza looks excellent and I can’t wait to go back.

This is my second time here. Yay! I’ve ordered their mussels! So delicious!!! Their pizza is awesome as well. A little taste of «The Hill» without the long drive.

We don’t have to drive to the Hill any longer. Heard some raves from folks last week, so we went over for dinner last night. Wonderful! This is my favorite type of establishment, clean, homey, nice ambiance and it smelled delicious. The appetizer, excellent bread with Rosemary and olive oil, perfectly dressed salad that was very fresh, and our pasta entrees were really impressive. Fresh. Key word here. And the tiramisu was homemade, moist and amazing flavor… Hummmm. We’ll be back with friends.

Meh. Sub-Fazoli’s quality food at Olive Garden prices. Great service but ridiculous pricing for Foristell, Missouri. Example: A $ 2 can(literally, a can) of Coke and no refills. No appetizers I can remember for under $ 10. The pizza was okay but not great.

Okay, some of the enthusiasm is tempered after second visit. Still like the place a lot, but there are some rough edges persisting. * Closed early. Posted sign said 8.30. At 8.00 pm, they turned off the Open sign, shut the blinds, and hovered over our table but without keeping the glasses full. We got the hint, but it was uncomfortable. * Service. Not 5-star service. The girls are nice, but not polished. Water glasses were not kept full. That’s impressive considering there were 3 parties in the entire place [of about 10 tables], and we were there about 90 minutes. It’s still a good place, and on our list; but, some of the luster from being a singular experience — very good food in an unexpected location found by mining Unilocal; a hidden gem, as it were — has faded a bit.

First off this place doesn’t look like much from the outside. In side it is very cozy maybe 10 tables, nice atmosphere. Better make a reservation on the weekends. This was our first time here. I ordered Chicken parm, and my wife had the eggplant parm both were very good. Salads were good; the only thing that wasn’t great was the fried calamari. It came out late the seasonings were good but the calamari was tough. Service was good and they took care of us on the bill because of the calamari. We will defiantly be back, great pasta and sauce.

An unexpected pleasure. My girlfriend and I were in the area this past weekend for a triathlon. On Friday night we were looking for a good dinner. As we were staying in Warrenton, MO. there were only fast food offerings. Using Unilocal I found Galati’s. Based on the previous reviews we decided to give it a try. Wow! Am I very glad we did. Fantastic food. We decided to share a vegetable calzone(best I have ever had) and the Torttoleni alla burini(awesome). The food was superb. As a point of reference I live in Kansas City and travel to the«hill» in St. Louis to get great italian food. If you are familiar with«the hill» in St. Louis you will be pleased to note that the food at Galati’s is every bit as good. Our service was a little slow but can be explained by the knowledge that two of the owners employees failed to show up that night. Galati’s is in a small converted post office. While the place has little atmosphere it is clean and a nice restaurant. The restaurant is a very short(block?) off of I-70 but not easily seen from the highway. Use a mapping function like Google Maps to find it. You will not be disappointed.

If you live in the area or want to just have a great authentic Italian meal come here. I have tried several items on the menu and each time I’m never disappointed. If your familiar with Foristell there isn’t much around to eat. You can go to Wentzville an d have the typical chain restaurant meal. For a meal using real ingredients not some processed pre portioned stuff this is the place. I can guaranty you won’t be disappointed.

Best Italian food in Missouri. Authentic, home style cooking at its finest. Amazing true italian eatery with a great atmosphere, very clean. Love this place! If you haven’t tried it you are definitely missing out! Try the house made Cannoli and Tiramisu. Amazing!

I went here last night with my aunt and uncle who live in the area. I have to say I was very impressed. This place could hold its own on The Hill; had to remind myself I was in Foristell. The Place: This used to be the old post office, but they’ve done a decent job revamping it. It’s not a big place and nothing too special on the inside, but relaxed and inviting nonetheless. The Food: This is legitimate and delicious Italian food. The chef is from Rome and has worked at Dominic’s on The Hill. The toasted bread with olive oil, parmesan, and a heavy dose of rosemary was a good opener. We got the eggplant parm as an appetizer and it was probably the best I’ve ever had. I ordered the tortellini in white wine cream sauce with peas and bacon. The tortellini was cooked perfectly and the bacon made a great addition to the sauce. Definitely pay this place a visit if you are hungry in the area.

Very good, a bit pricey. Calzone was gorgeous, could easily serve two. Looked like a breakfast pastry. Chicken Fontima was excellent, lemony with nice artichokes and mushrooms. Son said toasted ravs were good-ate them all. Hub had pennete with bacon… good, not amazing. Salad good, bread great, wine decent. Given the options nearby, maybe 5 stars…

We stopped in during a Thanksgiving visit to my relatives who live in the area. If you live near or happen to be traveling through Foristell MO(far west suburb of STL), Galati’s is a must. While Saint Louis proper has an entire Italian district known as «The Hill» about an hour east of here, Galati’s is a comparable treat for those who live in the West suburbs or who are traveling through. I have lived and dined in Los Angeles, Houston, Chicago, etc and would rank this among the top authentic Italian dishes I have encountered. Very relaxed atmosphere, great service, fresh ingredients, authentic cuisine. If you are just passing through, I suggest you also try a bite of the local STL tradition, toasted ravioli. It is very simple and is offered as an appetizer. The Chicken Fontina was a particularly notable main dish, and the tiramisu is fresh and perfectly chilled. They offer a small selection of wines but you might also visit one of the many Missouri wineries in the immediate area — many are open late.

Want some TRUE Italian food? Come eat here! The food is amazing! The wait staff could use some improvement(they all seem very new to the business) and they need a liquor license; this is why they get 4 out of 5. If you can put that behind you, you will enjoy some amazing and truly authentic Italian food. Ask to meet the chef; he will come out and talk to you. If you can’t stand the wait staff… call ahead and you can just come pick up your food.
