Joey Tomato’s Pizza

Store bought, frozen meatballs heated in a microwave. The «specialty» stuffed pizza is not something to brag about and the pizza is subpar at best. Epic fail!

Seriously? Subpar pizza and the meatballs are clearly frozen store bought, might as well have gone to Costco! Very disappointing. Epic fail Joey!

3 strikes… I’m done. The positive part of the review is short: the grandma pie is great! Just be ready for serious garlic breath. The bad: Twice my delivery orders were wrong. Missing items the first time and the wrong items the second time. A nice man, who I assume was the owner, had the delivery guy come back with the proper items. More bad: Pickup time is often 25 minutes or more. I ordered a chicken dish for pickup and it took 35 minutes, and when I got it home i noticed it was bright pink! In multiple spots! They gave me a refund but what a hassle and a let down. I don’t think the owner was there, because if he was he might have been more apologetic than the teenager who handled the issue.

Grandma pie rocks and so does their cheesesteaks (I love the cheese cheesesteak on garlic bread!). Delivery guy Austin was very friendly too. Def recommend.

Joey Tomato’s is awesome. High quality ingredients, good prices, and consistently delicious food no matter what you order. Staff is also very down to earth and friendly. Definitely check out the grandma’s pie as other reviewers have suggested.

The family ordered 5 wings, a large plain pizza and Grand Mom’s pizza. All delivered right to the lake we were swimming at. We just gave them a nearby house number as a reference. As a finicky pizza critic, comparing some of Trenton’s famous pizza pies, these pizzas ranked very high and the quality of ingredients stood out. Give them a try, you won’t be disappointed.

My family and I know cheesesteaks, and they make fantastic cheesesteaks. The service was great and we got our food fast. I will DEFIANTLY be returning, sooner then later.

With a name like that, how can you resist trying it? Pizza was great. service rocked. Only regret was i didn’t get to try the Grandma’s pie everyone raves about. Will have to visit again without the kids. Kudos!

I have doubts about this place, the first time I ordered from them was really good and I liked it but the next few times were not as good as the first one. They messed up my order 3 times in 3 different occasions. I’m not sure if I would give it another chance.

I can’t believe I haven’t reviewed this place yet. Been going here since they opened last year. Great food! Grandma pie may be the best pie in town. Owner is a great guy that takes pride in his product and service.

Great pizza! I recommend Grandmas pizza… it’s delicious! If you are not in the mood for pizza, their wings are pretty good although they are advertised as buffalo you can also have them on bbq sauce… YUM!

A family member told us we had to try the grandma pizza, and it actually lived up to our expectations! I love garlic, and it had fresh garlic in it with mozzarella, basil, and tomatoes… It was the balance of ingredients that I really liked, the garlic was there but it wasn’t overwhelming, etc… They also had good salad greens, arugula, etc, looked like they used quality ingredients for stuff… We ate there and service was quick, might try ordering in next time…

My wife and I just ate here and loved the grandma pie. The ingredients were fresh and the pizza tasted great. They also have an excellent rice pudding. Thanks Joe!

Delivery took 1 hour, granted it was a Friday night, but I still think that is way too long. We ordered pizza and a steak sandwich.
When the food did come, the pizza was luke warm, yuk. We ordered mushrooms and sausage. The mushrooms were from a can and were horrible. The sausage used was good and was sliced pieces, which I like, if you could find it on the pizza.
The buffalo chicken cheesesteak was good. The roll used was excellent, they did not toast the sandwich which is the way all steak sandwiches should be. It was prepared well and tasted good. The only thing I would have liked more is if they had used more meat, at times it felt like I was eating a good roll with buffalo chicken flavoring.
