If the bagels are what you want JT’s is where you go. There parking lot is usually insanely busy andyou need to be careful. I have been hit once. Inside there is a wide array of bagels and sandwiches. Staff is efficient quick and I’ve never once had my order messed up. I usually order an everything bagel lightly toasted with cream cheese lettuce tomato and bacon. Sounds a little strange but they make it perfectly. Their French toast bagels taste just like french toast. Although the bagels are a bit big and I am never able to finish 1. If I have one complaint it is usually that they are out of Colombian coffee. I don’t drink flavored coffee in the morning so I’m usually stuck with one of the other ones. All in all JT’s is the best place for bagels if you’re in that neck of the woods.

These bagels are not only tasty, they are huge and very reasonable! These guys are worth a try, if not a regular stop. I suggest going earlier than later if you are getting a large order of bagels. I am from upstate NY and always get there early in the morning to bring several dozen home.

Simply the best bagels ANYWHERE up and down Ocean County. Why? They are freshly made every morning and they make them differently from typical places — so their bagels come out slightly crisp on outside but soft and airy, not dense, on the inside. The breakfast bagel sandwiches are all winners, you really can’t get a bad thing here. I used to bring them to my workplace in Newark and pretty soon a couple of my co-workers from Newark were finding reasons to visit down here so they could get JY’s bagels. The owners have really kept the place at top-notch service and quality– thank you.

Nice good fresh selection of bagels and you can pretty much get any breakfast sandwich here-and quickly! The french toast bagel is THEBESTBAGEL ever. Toast it up with a scraping of butter! They have plenty of coffee choices too, as well as a nice selection of juices. The sitting area is convenient and clean especially given the high volume of patrons. If you are passing by the Forked River exit, get off and its less than a mile straight off the parkway — better than rest stop offerings! Especially enjoyed while sitting on the beach. Enjoy!

By far, the absolute WORST bagels I’ve ever had in my life. Dunkin Donuts does a better job and that’s just… sad. Service is terrible as well. Once you order and pay, you are waiting in the pickup line behind tons of hot sandwich orders when all you’ve ordered was a damned bagel with cream cheese! Everything bagel topping has… parsley in it??? And the much talked about french toast bagel was so disgusting, it got thrown out after just 1 awful bite. Never again will return. Giving this review one star because it won’t let me give none. What pains me even more is that I found this place through Unilocal,of which I’m a loyal user, and up until now have never been steered so completely wrong.

Ahhh JT’s Bagel Hut, how come I’ve only discovered you only recently and only after many drunken nightly escapades. I was introduced to this place by girl after a night of getting hammered and beers. I wanted a basic pork roll egg and cheese on a bagel to cure my already upset stomach at the 30+ beers I had drank the night before. So I went ahead and got one pork roll egg and cheese on a french toast bagel, and another one on a sesame bagel. I went wacky and figured I’d really like french toast on some salty pork roll and eggs, or I’d hate it and spit it out since the flavors were too edgy. Meaning super sweet bread with salty pork roll, but in fact it was a winning combination. Would I come here again? Most certainly, I’ve been going the day after I come home with a hang over, so far it’s cure my appetite and my hang over. What else is there to say, good bagels, and good pork roll egg and cheese’s.

Honestly the most amazing breakfast sandwiches/bagels I’ve ever had. Because of my rave reviews, my family and friends always want to try it; they have yet to disappoint.

Best bagels ever! Get the French toast bagel! I only get bagels from here when I’m down in Lacey and I’m always happy with their food. The pizza bagel is good too! But that French toast is amazing!

By far the best bagels in the area. I wouldn’t put them as the best bagels ever, but they are absolutely delicious. I prefer their sweet and savory options vs the standard ones. French toast bagels are a must try.

When ever I visit my relatives in Forked River JT’s is a must! Their bagels are great and there is good variety(they need a banana bread bagel, just saying!) their spreads are great too! The staff is friendly. Get there early!

A bagel is a bagel, hard to make a horrible one. But when it comes to class JT Bagel Hut fails with boisterous success. Asked early in the week about a discount or donation for a bulk order for teachers during teacher’s appreciation week, the group was met with a resounding no. What about on the bagels that get thrown out at the end of the day was the next question. The answer? «We’d rather throw them out.» Excellent job JT Bagel Hut, I’d say you lost a fairly loyal group of patrons.

The bagels are huge and fluffy, there are tons of spreads and sandwich toppings to choose from, and there’s plenty of drink options. Totally can’t go wrong with breakfast here.

Do yourself a favor and try this place. The French toast bagel is off the chain. Also good: the cheddar cheese, pizza, and cinnamon bagels. Cons: the coffee sucks and the cashiers are extremely rude and not inviting at all. No hello, no eye contact, no nothing. If it wasn’t for that I’d give it 5 stars.

Everybody knows jts bagel hut has the best bagels in town, and personally they are the best bagels I’ve had anywhere. A great selection of bagels, breakfast meats, and cream cheeses. Everything is always fresh and consistent. The prices are very fair. The icing on the cake for me is the fact they have GREAT coffee too, it seals the deal on a perfect breakfast experience. The staff is very friendly and coordinated, customers are in and out with a large crowd at the same rate they are when it’s a small crowd. The kitchen staff is very consistent with preparing the food and they always make sure customers leave with the right orders, just how they ordered it. The only thing I think there is room for improvement on at JTs is the size of the establishment. It can get a little crowded on Saturday and Sunday mornings. A well-deserved 5 stars, as long as I’m in the area I’ll always visit jts for breakfast!

The bagels were kind of big and fluffy, more like a roll than a bagel. I like the fact that they have a bunch of different flavors, but it just didn’t feel like a real bagel. I also wasn’t a huge fan of the ala carte ordering system. I’d prefer just to order a sandwich without having to calculate prices in the early morning hours. With that said the sandwich and coffee were very good. Honestly anywhere I can get a pork roll & egg sandwich is fine with me.

Oh my goodness. If I had to choose one word to describe JT’s Bagel Hut it would be «wow». This is hands down the best bagel place I’ve ever been to. I’ve read a lot of great reviews on Unilocal about JT’s and my family and I decided to check it out. I’m so glad we did. After scoping out the fantastic selection of bagels, I decided to go breakfast crazy. I ordered a Taylor ham egg and cheese on a Swiss bagel, a cinnamon crunch bagel, and their famous French toast bagel. I’m beyond full right now but it was all worth it. I also got a cup of maple raisin walnut cream cheese. This went perfectly with the cinnamon crunch bagel and the French toast bagel. Overall, as I mentioned, this is the best bagel place I’ve ever been to. The bagels were soft and chewy on the inside with a wonderful crunch on the outside. This will be my new go-to bagel place when I’m down the shore. I wish I could give it more stars but this gets a five for sure. I highly, highly, highly recommend it.,
