Play Day Place

This is the perfect place for your child to have some indoor fun and take a break from the crazy heat of the summer or enjoy a place to play when the weather is bad. Have been here a few times while spending the summer down the shore. It cost 11 dollars and change per child and there is a big play structure, three large bounce houses with slides, a bounce structure which you can stick to the wall on and a rock climbing wall. There is also a small toddler room with. Small ball pit and slide and a large connect four which my child loves. Parents aRe not allowed in structure but the place is adequately staffed and all staff have been friendly and helpful to the children. They climb into the structure if a child is afraid of climbing through tubes etc… there is also no time limit to play and times for open play are posted in the website — sometimes the window is two hours but many times much longer.

We have been to a lot of different places while celebrating birthday parties with friends and family but this place left a very negative impression on me. I was a witness of very unprofessional behavior that the owner of the place did towards the hostess of the party that we were attending. I kind of felt really bad for her because i did not want to be in her place. It looked like the owner was out of control stormed in the room and started attacking the hostess for no legit reason, first i wanted to interfere and tell her to relax because you should know how to conduct yourself with PAYING CUSTOMERS on a day of their child’s birthday. You can’t tell paying people where they should set up their birthday desserts and gifts it is up to them to decide that is why owner was getting payed, that is so rude. By the way all the time that we were there i felt like we were incarcerated all the time that we spent in a party room eating pizza and having dessert, 2 or 3 employees were standing there staring constantly. In my understanding if you work you suppose to do something not to stand around and stare. it felt like they were on some kind of detail to report to the owner. I felt really uncomfortable to go and grab a slice of pizza because for some reason the employee who was suppose to serve it was standing next to the boxes with her foot being on top of a chair waiting till somebody comes over and asks for it, with body language like that i did not have no desire to approach her. by the way what a rip off with the pizza, imagine a small slice cut in half that what they call 2 slices of pizza, lol. I was considering to rent this place in 2 month for my daughter but after seeing owner acting like a needy drama queen and employees constantly standing and starring at us, i changed my mind. If you allow yourself to act like that in front of invited guests then shame on you I am not taking any chances that may overshadow one of the most happiest days for me by uneducated rude person.

Loved this place! The kids had a great time and the staff was great! Will be returning.

I just have my son’s birthday party there and the overall experience was amazing! The owner and staff are beyond friendly and very helpful. I did not do anything except for bringing the decorations in. They had everything under control! They were very organized and kept on top of everything before the party so that no details were left undone.
The place was clean, and all the equipment was in perfect working order.
I have only wonderful things to say about the experience I had a play date place. I would recommend anyone have a party there or just stop in for a day of fun!
