Mill Creek Inn

Second time staying here. We would stay here again. Just wish the rooms were cleaned better.
Pros:
*Cute little cabin — 4 of us were a bit overcrowded, but managed
*Firepit was enjoyed every night
*Made use of BBQ grill provided
*Main bed wasn’t uncomfortable
*Plates, bowles, silverware provided, a couple pots and pans (we brought our own)
*Owners are nice
*Prices good overall
*Good area in Forks when going to all the beaches
*Can walk to a bar/​grill
*Overall comfortable and laid back
*Ask for Cabin 1
*We would stay here again despite my cons below (just don’t look in corners or behind furniture)
Cons:
*Dirty (found bunch of dead flies while trying to find an outlet to charge my phone) cobwebs and dust every where, my poor nieces allergies got so much worse
*3 electrical outlets, we went and bought a power strip
*Too many decorations, no room to put your stuff, I had to move trinkets around to have enough room for our stuff
*No wifi — you will burn through data
*Breakfast muffins were on the stale side
*Coffee weak but does the trick in a pinch

This place was geat! Exceeded my expectations– very cozy. The Owner’s made us feel at home. I would recommend this place to anyone traveling to Forks.

upside:
–quaint, cute, cozy. great for the minimalist traveler.
–two-​burner stove top and sink above a small frig — perfect. pot, pan, various cooking utensils, silverware, dishes, cups, most anything you’d need for a quick meal.
–great shower with no shortage of soaps or towels, portable heater.
–tables, chairs outside, where you can listen to the gurgling creek. lovely landscaping.
–corner kitchen table for two.
–deck of cards if you feel so inclined.
–ladder to climb up to the loft where a spare twin bed was at the ready w/​blankets and such.
–electric fireplace w/​flame heater
downside:
–cozy approx 12′ x 20′ cabin.
–queen bed positioned in a corner with no way out for the person in the corner.
–little room to lay out luggage
–unreachable light pull on the light/​fan fixture
–only three small wattage lights, small lamp on the kitchen table, one floorlamp by the sofa, one –lamp on the bed’s nightstand
–only 3 power plugs available on a power strip
–inoperable freestanding radiator heater in main room

It was very nice, but there was a little bit of black mold behind the bed and in the bathroom. In a very good location if you’re into the twilight thing and if you’re into the beaches/​hiking.
