Forney Stadium 12

This theatre used to be decent. Now, it’s dirty, over run by unruly teens, understaffed, and to top it off no longer Starplex. The big daddy AMC has bought this theater out. So now the prices are about to skyrocket. The large tub of popcorn is now the AMC small bag. #fail.
I would imagine that since AMC has taken over there will be improvements, but that would be assuming. And we all know the saying about assuming. When my family was there in a Friday night, there was one teenager working the ticket booth. The line was 30 people deep to buy tickets. There was two teens in front of us and by the time we made our way up to the ticket booth, those two teens let 15 of their closest friends cut in front. Ugh!!! Seriously??? The indoor computer kiosk was broken. Figures!
Only two lines were open for concessions, which made for an extremely long line. Good thing we got there early! Sheesh.
As we were walking to our theater, a man walked out of his movie to complain to an employee that they had been waiting 20 minutes past movie time for their movie time to start. The employee explained the manager was working on the problem and was bringing vouchers whether they stayed or not. I immediately knew this would a hellish time.
Our movie started 10 minutes late… not surprised. After all these issues, we won’t be back. Ever.

Attention businesses who consider advertising with AMC theaters especially Forney Theater 12. The attached picture showing the big black screen is where you ad is supposed to be. It has been like this the last few times we have been here. Advertisers beware!

Great theater for a small town. When it’s Friday night and you decide you want to see a new flick, and everyplace else is sold out, check out Forney Stadium 12… Prices are lower than anything around and the movies are great. It’s clean, friendly, accessible, and our number one choice in theaters.

A good movie theater for its price! Student is $ 5.50! I always go here! It’s small. Not as noisy and busy as AMC or other big theaters.

Are you kidding?! I can go watch a movie with the latest technology in a nice clean movie theater for $ 5 matinée. That’s awesome. throw in that I can get $ 1 hot dogs. I read a few reviews. and I don’t buy it. Every movie theater I have ever been to has had lazy (youger) staff. It’s true that this place is about the only show in Forney. but I would rather come here any day of the week rather than go to some of the other theaters about 15 miles from this one at twice the price. I like this place it’s small. but it’s a great value.

Only survives because there isn’t another theater nearby.

My family and I drive past a theatre to come out here when we want to see new movies at a matinée or evening showtime. Students and kids always pay $ 5 and that’s what keeps us coming back! Even the matinée price I believe, up until about 7pm is $ 5 for everyone. Clean theatres with stadium seating (unlike Starplex 80/​Dollar Movie Mesquite). Come here!

Love this place! Do they have the biggest screens and the best tasting popcorn in the DFW area? Heck, no! Do they have $ 5 student tickets and a courteous staff? They sure do! If I want to go to a movie and I’m within 15 miles of this theater, it’s where I go!

I usually come here with the kids for a quick movie. Sometimes their staff can seem lazy or maybe it’s that they never seem to have enough people working. Food is average. Overall there better out there

OK, so! My Son and I wanted to see a movie. It was his first day out of the house after his tonsillectomy. Its about 1pm in the afternoon, and we buy our tickets and he goes to get the seats and I stand in line for popcorn. As I am walking back towards the theater, a male employee starts making sexual noises as he is walking with a female employee. I keep walking hoping he is not referring to me, but he keeps doing it! I turn to quickly glimpse and hes looking at my rear, shaking his head and licking his lips. I turn quickly but then get pissed so I turn back to say something but he walked around the corner and i’m not going to chase this ape. It was disgusting. More than anything i’m glad my Son wasn’t next to me. We eventually left and I called to report him and sent an email as well. They did call me back so that was good, but seriously, I will not be going back to that theater. For the record i was wearing white jeans and a regular full length tank top. not dressed provocatively at all.
