Pizza Grand

This place has by far the best pizza I’ve ever had in my entire life. I am not freaking joking I don’t know what it is with the crust on this pizza sauce on this pizza everything about it is just the best. I honestly don’t know why they’re not franchised.
I think it’s a grand is the only thing I’m going to miss about Forney when I move.

Great pizza! Thin crust, perfectly cooked. The owner was so sweet! I called to see if they delivered, and they do not, but he was so concerned he offered to lock the door and bring it to me. Of course, I declined and happily picked it up. He was sweet and gave great customer service.

Good thin crust, fresh ingredients, great price, and friendly service. Can’t ask for more.
I got a veggie pizza which came with bell peppers, mushroom, olive, tomato, and onions.
The crust was thin and crispy, almost pie-​like. The pizza was easy on cheese and sauce and loaded with veggies. It was almost too healthy for a pizza. And I loved it more for that.
I placed an order by the phone for a pickup. He said 30 mins, which was a long wait for my starved self, but it only means the pizza was made from scratch and that I should order little ahead next time.

Very nice owner! Has been in business for 31+ years!
The pizza is decent, very light crust, not much sauce.
The restaurant is very small, 4 tables, very informal.
The prices are low.

I have heard excellent things about Pizza Grand since I moved to Forney 8 years ago. There is not enough good things to say about this excellent place to eat. When I walked in I was greeted by Ray (the owner) with «Hello my friend, I am glad to see you tonight». This is greetings you just do not receive in today’s corporate, cookie cutter and frozen food template we see too often. With a perfect crust, fresh toppings and excellent service, this will be a weekly staple in our house. I understand now why this pizza place has been in business for 33 years. Ray you have a customer for life!!! If Cheers served Pizza it would be called Pizza Grand.
We have now eaten at Pizza Grand at least 1 a week and we are more pleased every time we go. Ray always remembers us and is always super friendly. The pizza is so good. I cannot say enough good things.

First time going to this place. Owner was super sweet and friendly. The pizza was average, but tasty to this 8 month pregnant lady. Would return again. I would like to see more fresh ingredients, the mushrooms looked canned. Pizza crust was light and fluffy.

I just had Pizza Grand for the first time. We got the Grand Special and the Alfredo Pizza. The pizzas were delicious and fulfilling. Great prize for the size of the pizzas.
But the best part of Pizza Grand was the owner Ray. He was so kind and helpful and very sweet. He was patient with our order. He remembered our names and asked details about our lives. We got it to go and he even brought it out to our car! Next time we will be eating it in the restaurant with him. He definitely knows hospitality and how to run a a business.
I will recommend to everyone in Forney!

Ordered medium cheese pizza for my daughter and I. From the start something smelled weird when I picked it up… Reminded me of a cheese pizza I bought at Kroger a couple of weeks ago from digorno. The cheese smelled weird on that frozen pizza and the smell when I picked up the pizza here was the same. Figured it may be the box… So I didn’t say anything. The pizza itself didn’t taste bad but the smell had to have been the cheese because it constantly smelled. I removed the cheese from the slice at one point and the smell was gone… The sauce actually smelled really good. Maybe the cheese was old, I don’t know… But what I do know is that it turned a good previous experience into a bad second experience and unfortunately I will not be coming back.

The pizza here is delicious and it definitely has its own special charm. I walked in to see the owner carrying a bag of flour from his car for pizza, which excited me quite a bit, rightly so! It was fresh and didn’t have that crappy pre made cardboard taste. I recommend giving it a shot!
