Room is not updated at all. Not well maintained, but I guess you get what you paid for.

From the outside it looks … Okay. Not scary or rundown but not deluxe. Inside is another story. We booked via Expedia for $ 50 a night. Prepaid, non refundable. One room was supposed to be handicapped access but neither one was. The lady at the front desk was nice and pleasant and gave us the wifi password and two rooms next door to each other. The lobby was kinda crummy, one of those old plastic accordion doors separated the breakfast room. The rooms were exactly alike. Old old old carpeting. Kind of strange smell to the rooms. I don’t think it was smoke but maybe something they use to disguise smells. The beds were good, firm, clean linens. The same couldn’t be said for the bedspread which had so many stains I was reluctant to touch it. There was also a very stained sofa and footstool in the room. One of the light sconces flickered until I thought I was having a seizure and had to turn it off. Now let’s talk about the bathroom. The toilet was miniature. I mean really short to the floor and I’m 4’11″. The faucet in the shower was clearly not working correctly. All the way to one side was cold water and all the way to the other side was… cold water. Hot was somewhere in between. The shower head was so dirty and corroded that it was scary to have water coming from it splashing onto your body. In the morning the breakfast buffet was white bread(with a toaster), biscuits, gravy from a can in a warmer, two kinds of cold cereal, milk, and coffee. We decided to pass this by. Overall, I guess you get what you pay for. I’ve stayed at worse places but not willingly. I doubt I’d go back. Oh, Pizza Hut delivers to this place. And there is a Chinese buffet within easy walking distance. We got the $ 10 box special from Pizza Hut and with delivery it was $ 21. Huh? Really. It must have been the soda we added on that added $ 11.

This was one of the worst motels I have ever stayed in. We had spiders and serious water damage in the bathroom ceiling. The room was very small and musty. There is no way I would stay there again.

Our room served its purpose, nothing more. It was a non-smoking room and it did not smell like smoke. That was a plus. The room was basically clean though the towels and linens seemed a little worn. The evening clerk was hesitant to give us an extra towel for my wife’s hair. When she did she noted our room number as though we were going to take it with us when we left. The outside of the facility really needed some love. The steps up to the second floor were filthy as were the tops of the pop and ice machines that are located under the steps. The grass/weeds needed to be cut. Granted, this hotel, is located in an area where some other businesses have closed, but they could take care of their own business. They advertise in room wi-if but, not. Really, it only works in the lobby. The complementary breakfast, as compared to other hotel breakfasts that we experienced on this three week sojourn, was OK. It had all the usual carb items such as breads, waffles and cereal but it also had biscuits and gravy and yogurt for a little protein, too. While we would not stay there again on purpose, the price was right and it was a comfortable bed.

great price compared to others in area. fresh paint and new furniture give the room the facelift it needed. be sure to ask for wifi login info at check-in. I’m curious to check out the pool and breakfast offering tomorrow.

I got stuck in this depressing sh*thole of a town when my car broke down while I was driving through. For such a little place, the prices for a hotel room are too high. I wouldn’t stop at this hotel or in this city again if I ever had the choice. The room was fairly clean, but there was a hole in the wall behind the bathroom lightswitch… hard to explain… but it looked like there used to be a lightswitch on the other side of the wall and they never covered the hole up. This city apparently has one homeless guy, and don’t you know that we ran into him trying to find a place to eat. Also their wireless internet didn’t work.
