Stopped in Forrest City on our way to Texas. Took Ted R’s advice and split a large ribeye — our bill was $ 50. Seemed pricey for what we got. I will say the steak and the apple cobbler were both very good.

Not good food, over priced worse steak of my husbands life and the pork medallions were like trying to chew beef jerky. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Taco Bell would have been a better choice.

Nice people, cute setting; and if you like fried catfish, this is the place for you. If you want anything else(even the other entrées listed on the menu), you should go somewhere else. I ordered grilled chicken breast. I took one bite and realized the chicken was doused with way too much salt(probably seasoning salt). The waitress took it back and just brought me a baked potato because I requested that instead. I was charged for both.

Steaks are«market value,» so they fluctuate. Other menu items are a little over-priced for the quality. But the atmosphere is pleasant and the service is good. Menu selection ranges from steak and ribs to seafood.

Awesome home town cooking. saw the reviews on Unilocal and decided to try it. We left extremely happy. Great pulled pork awesome beefkabob and the ff and sweet potatoe casserole were awesome. We are one satisfied group of okies. Owner was also very nice.

Small town BEST! It’s 100% the place to go! Fantastic service and excellent food. Zesty wings app might be the best wings I’ve had ever(though not«buffalo» which I definitely prefer), the sweet potato casserole knocked my socks off(my toes are cold!), steak was done perfectly and rolls so good you don’t even need butter! Go! Tip well! Enjoy!

We so enjoyed this restaurant that it has become our reason to stop over at Forrest City when we drive I-40 through Arkansas. It is downtown, less than 2 miles from exit 241, in a beautifully restored old building, and is an obvious favorite among the locals. The food was very good and service was even better. I accidentally left my jacket behind, and the restaurant owner got my name off the credit card receipt and called around until he found our motel, then drove it to the motel and left it for me at the front desk! These are good people.

Recommended by a local. For a small town this was the best place around I love small town local places. My wife and I split a large rib eye and we got two salad plates and an extra plate for no charge. We both had a glass of wine. Beer was also available. Not fancy but great service and we enjoyed the experience.
