Had our wedding reception in the Officer’s Club, and it was beautiful. Its an old spanish-​style room with vaulted ceilings and dark ironwork details, and a wooden floor, if I remember right. We put similar iron metalwork tabletop votive chandeleirs on the tables intertwined with ivy and spray roses, and it was perfect. The history of this place… Eisenhower, Patton, etc… Its is just a lovely place to have your first dance with the one you love. :) The staff was extra helpful, and though the food was so-​so, it was also extra cheap, so we had hor d’oeurves from the buffet, followed by a sit down dinner, and it seemed opulent, but was on a budget. :)
