The base comments has not changed. You can get basic needs here and some of the German Foods from overseas. The product line changes and everything is hit or miss. I feel like a hoarder when I shop here because I buy a large quantity of everything. You never know when the specialities are going back on the shelf. I shop here about ever two weeks and miss about half the items because of it. Restocking is my biggest complaint here.

Great place to shop for groceries. If you have more than 1 person in your family and have access to this commissary, you need to shop here. As always, pay attention to prices versus civilian grocery stores (they have loss-​leader specials). But over all prices are cheaper and you have access to some great military-​only coupons. I’m not sure why people are complaining about surcharges and tips for baggers. NC has a tax on groceries that is higher than the surcharge. And I believe a bagger deserves those tips.
The meat I bought was great — produce was great — service was great. Casher and bagger were both friendly.

Great prices and product. Poor customer service. By customer service, I mean basic common courtesy from the cashiers. Baggers are great and deserve good tips — they work quick, know how to bag, and are courteous.

Produce is hit or miss.
Bought some peaches that were all rotten inside.
Bought some strawberries that all tasted like dirt
Bought a cucumber that was rotten on the bottom — my fault for not looking hard enough.
Bought a honeydew that was awful.
Bought a green pepper that had a creepy little spider living inside — that was a scare!
5 things so far and I’ve only shopped here twice. I will be more careful with produce next time and maybe shop elsewhere for produce. I buy a lot of produce and then dozens of other things I bought were good :) you can always return something for a refund or exchange if you bring it in with your receipt. I am just way too lazy to do that.
I like going on weekdays because it’s empty!
Prices are good.

I think convenience is the main factor that I go here so much. The selection is ok and the location is great. Certain things are a no brainier for me to buy here but other things I can just pop down the road into Food Lion and get and not feel bad about it

What can I say, prices are good. Just do not go on payday! The fresh produce is lacking (it spoils way too fast). I typically save enough to make it worth the lines. Shelves empty quick on payday weekends but their stock and selection is good on the off weeks. The staff is polite and the naggers work hard so don’t forget they work for tips only!

In case there are people like me haha i didnt know i have to pay Taxes under the different name, SURCHARGE + tips for bagger = not really cheap or anything haha
In case there are people like me who have some OCD behaviors so you want to bag vege with vege or meat with only meat … Egg and bread in separate bags… If you tell them u want to bag your stuff by own U will experience one of amazing dirty look haha

Some of them = awesome buy some of them= i havent seem that kind of rude people yet outside of base so…
