This place is eclectic and inviting. Variety of books, incense and collectibles was outstanding! Tom was super friendly! A must«stop and shop» in Fort Bragg!

Very nice place, clean, with an excellent selection of books. We left with quite a few books including the History of Merced County, who would have known? A must visit again when we are in the area.

Quite a selection of books! The store was bigger than I expected, and had the scent of incense and old books. While the buttons were overpriced, the books were priced well and the store had good vibes. I could easily spend a few hours here just looking!

I literally could of spent all day here browsing through old vintage books as well as modern. Lots of great arts and crafts. Loved the flower pressed bookmarks. This really is an awesome store in such an awesome town. Thank you!

I came to this bookstore looking for a specific book(the Hobbit). I was going to ask as to where it’d be but I got distracted by cool stuff and wandered around the place. It’s not all that big so I got to the back pretty fast. And they had a pretty cool version of it for only 6 $! They also had this awesome LOTR set from the 60’s. If I had 90 $ that set would have been mine. Next time I’m in town I will definitely be stopping by again.

There’s only one word to describe the vibe I got in here today: hostile. I’ve been to this shop before and had good experiences but today was unbelievable. I’m on a weekend trip(Fort Bragg has been one of my favorite destinations for 20 years or more), and I was on the start of a long walk and wanted to look for fiction that I might read while I’m in town. It was 5:15 p.m., and the sign said the store closed at 5:30. I was very conscious of this and had absolutely no intention of staying past then. So when I walked in, I greeted the person behind the counter, intending to let her know I was aware of the time. I said a friendly hello and was met with a cold and suspicious glare, and then a short«hi.» She asked whether I was looking for anything specific, and I said no, that I’d just like to look — and I said I was aware the shop was closing in 15 minutes. «Actually, it’s less than 15 minutes,» she said, continuing the cold glare. I’m really not exaggerating this. Her look was so severe that I wondered whether I was giving off some sign of being a thief or a predator. I was really thrown off. Knowing that I was not welcome in this space — and that any book I found would be tainted by this fact — I said, «Well I’ll go, then.» «OK,» she replied — cold glare still going strong. I’ve worked in retail, and I’ve worked in restaurants, and I know it can be a drag when someone walks in right before closing — especially if it’s someone who’ll stay a long time and not buy anything. But really, this was outrageous. There’s no excuse to treat another person that way, no matter what kind of day you’ve had. To anyone who visits Fort Bragg and wants to duck inside this shop, I’d say be prepared for the coldest reception you’ve ever had.

Yep, a place with atmosphere(and the scent of incense), lots of nooks and crannies and well priced books. Friendly, browsable(surely that’s a word? *stares at squiggly red underline*) and well worth a stop.

Great used bookstore! Has interesting stuff on esoteric subjects. The owner recommended several books that I’m really enjoying. And you can’t beat the prices! There are candles and wind chimes, posters and all sorts of stuff. Definitely worth a stop when you’re in Fort Bragg.

Great used bookstore, the last in Fort Bragg since the place near Larry Spring’s closed. Cheap stuff, great esoterica section, even better science fiction section, with some interesting rarities(1st edition Aleister Crowley anyone?) and a vinyl record section that always has at least one or two gems. I always feel good about spending money here, it has a piece of this area’s soul in it.

This is a nice friendly book shop on Main street. They seemed to carry mostly used and I found a great book about birds of North America that was on sale for $ 6. They had some gift type items too-candles, incense, some artwork. The store goes back and back with just tons of shelves of things to look through. I can imagine this being a local favorite. If you have some extra time in Fort Bragg, check it out!

Nice little book shop off the main street. It was raining, the wife and I both wanted something to relax with inside, and this shop was right there. Good thing they had a nice selection. Cheap cheap stuff, and a friendly owner as well.
