Love this gym. I’m always here as soon as it opens the gym is to yourself for about 2 hours. Equipment is clean and have many machines & free weights to choose from. It’s worth the 25 dollar fee.

Great place! Of course you have to pay! Who is entitled to a free gym? It is well worth the price!

I’m writing this from a spouse’s point of view, and not that of a soldier. I don’t really know why we have to pay to go to this gym. Maybe it has to do with the childcare? If that is the case, then they should treat the childcare section of the gym(which is run by CYS) just like the Tennessee Ave. hourly center and charge a rate by the hour. If you don’t have children I don’t see how this gym will be much use to you, for the classes you still have to pay for a ticket to participate even if you pay the monthly fee. If you like to take aerobic classes like me, then this gym will not be worth the money or the hassle. I am a member of the Clarksville Athletic Club, I don’t have to call to reserve a slot for my child every morning that I work out and I can take as many classes as I’d like and they are included in the cost of the membership. I also like the fact that they have an indoor pool, outdoor pool and sauna all conveniently located in the same building. So no running around post for me!

I love this place. I hate to have to pay for an on post gym as an active duty soldier, but it’s not that expensive and it’s close to my house. The equipment is great. There are plenty of free weights and machines. There are different rooms for cardio, abs, and lifting. There is also an area where classes are offered, such as zumba and yoga, and the gym includes showers and sauna. I can’t speak for the cardio room, but the weight and ab areas never seem to be to overcrowded. Even when I am there during peak hours(5 – 7) there is plenty room to work out. You may not be able to do your routine in the same usual order, but eventually, the machine /free weight that you wan’t to use will become available. The staff is always very nice and the gym overall is very clean. There are towels available at the front desk. I love going to this gym, especially since it’s so close and I go at least three times a week. I highly recommend it!

I know you have to pay… But if your a Gym Rat like myself, and you hate waiting for weights, mats, and or machines. Then this is the place to go. Just like any other on– base gym, around pt hours it’s full, and it’s hard to get a decent workout prior work call. With a small fee a month and convenient location near work. You get everything from a full workout, to a sauna sweat, and a casual cool down on their hot tub. I’ve even attended a couple of their cardio classes. Fun and motivating. Can’t beat it!

never before have i had to pay for a gym on an army post, but this one is close by my house and is the a fully equipped gym. wish it had more treadmills… the cardio section is SERIOUSLY lacking. there is a room with bikes in the back(elevated sit up machines and mats in there too!) and then about 8 treadmills, a few stair climbers and some ellipticals in the front cardio room. make sure you go during non-peak hours if you want a machine, i have discovered that between 9 – 11 and 2 – 4 are the best times if you want a treadmill. nice weight area, again go during non-peak hours, otherwise you’ll be fighting with soldiers on their lunch break for room. tons of machines, a sauna and hot tub area. there are classes: yoga, zumba, all that good stuff. you can pay for just classes, get a month pass with or without classes added on or just pay per trip. the pass without classes is about $ 16…well worth it if you aren’t a fan of working out in the cold of winter or the heat of summer. if you have kids, they have child care, but, as i am not yet burdened with spawn, i do not know much about it. call and ask. not the best gym i’ve been to, but not the worst either.
