212 Degrees Restoration

Stephen Lautzenhizer, the owner of the company, came to our house to give an estimate. Our fridge had been leaking and moisture has gotten into the walls and flooring. My wife said before he arrived he seemed rude over the phone. He seemed totally annoyed with our issue. He told us that he wouldn’t be able to get an estimate to us right away because he had other «real» projects. My wife and i took offense to that and she said something about this being important to us. He said he is used to dealing with emergency situations and he is overworked. He left without finishing the estimate, which is fine by us. We didn’t want him in our house anymore.
If your business is booming, hire enough people to do the work. If your business doesn’t want to work on small jobs, such as mine, then let it be known up front.
A different large company that deals with large scale restoration jobs was happy to give us an estimate on our small potatoes job and was professional and nice. We will go with them.
