Fantastically beautiful. Worth the time to get the peace found here… natural and magical.

What a perfect little day hike! Whether you’re a mountain biker, horseback rider, hiker, or require accessible paths, there’s something for you. The more rugged trails look like a lot of fun for mountain bikers. In some of the rocky areas and sharp meanders in the trail, there are wooden runs for cyclists. Toward the top of the natural area is the nature bowl, a high vale that is home to all sorts of wildlife(watch out for bears!) and is a nice, cool respite from the uphill trek that you have just finished. If you hike up the Ginny Trail, be sure to wear sunblock and bring three times more water than you think you will need. All the trees that would have provided shade were devoured by a fire several years ago and there are no facilities past the entrance. My wife and I ran out of water before we even reached the top of the ridge. Thank heavens it rained that day. We filled our empty bottles with rain as best we could and sipped the water that pooled up on rocks. Our descent down the steep powerline trail in the rain was a muddy one.
