Cheba Hut was always a favorite of mine while I was in Boulder, so I was happy to find multiple locations in Fort Collins that were both producing the same tasty sandwiches. Cheba Hut is, bar none, my favorite place in Fort Collins to get a sandwich. Lots of great vegetarian options, too — though I’ll always have a place in my heart for a loaded up White Widow. Another great perk is they have a liquor license — and what goes better with a nice toasty sandwich than a cold beer?

Every time I am in Colorado this place is a must. Come here at least twice because of all the great options they have. It’s a laid back place and the cereal treats are amazing! My favorite– fruity pebbles treat. They even serve kool aid!

Love this place!!! my favorite is the White Widow with extra Ranch. Their house made Ranch is the best I’ve had. And they have kool-aid

My son took me to this place and I was in love after the first bite. I’ve been craving ever since and am looking for one closer to me since I moved to Colorado.

One of my favorite sandwiches in Fort Collins. I get delivery quite often from the Laurel location and they have never steered me wrong, except tonight, so I thought I would share. I ordered through Order Up at 4 pm, and 5:30 came around and no food. I called Cheba Hut and the person on the phone was very apologetic and said that they had a lot of problems with orders through Order Up. He promised my order(a french dip, chips, a drink and a cereal bar) in 20 to 30 minutes along with extras for the mess up. My order arrived at 6 and the delivery boy was apologetic and nice, and I opened up my bag after he left and there were indeed tons of extra goodies inside. However, they forgot the au jus for my french dip! I was very very disappointed. They had never done this before, and I understand that they were in a hurry to get my order to me, but a french dip without au jus is just a roast beef sandwich… I didn’t call the location again, I was too hungry to wait for them to correct my order again. Cheba Hut is delicious and hasn’t steered me wrong before tonight, so I will give them a second chance after this.

Good food but the staff is too stoned to pass just about any health inspection. I’ve seen the staff change ceiling tiles above counters with food on them; I’ve seen staff pick their noses or touch their faces and then go right back to making food. I’ve given them several chances but I think I am finally done. If you like food made by the dirtiest of hippies without and any concern for cleanliness, or accuracy(they’ll probably screw up your order after taking twenty minutes to make it!) this is the place for you.

Although this place is a bit gimmicky it was quite fun and the food was quite good. Very friendly staff too.

Great food but don’t do delivery. They most likely will forget your address and some of your food.

Cheba Hut is usually my go to sandwich shop in Fort Collins. I love the Cali Mist and White Widow. The only thing that has bothered me is that I sometimes ask for avocado added, and they have forgotten quite a few times but I don’t notice until I get home. I definitely recommend this shop to everyone who comes and visits me! Soooooo fresh and yummy. Love the CO theme also ;)

These guys don’t have any idea how to make a sub. I recently ordered two subs from these guys and they messed up both!!! I put my order in at 8:00, not late at all. I got two AK-47s and asked for no mushrooms on one with cheddar cheese, and no mushrooms or onion on the other. Not only did they both come with onion, the cheddar cheese was on the wrong sub and the other sub came with PICKLESANDTOMATO! Where the hell did that come from?!? Those subs don’t even come with those nor did I order that. Sorry guys but these were two of the worst subs I’ve had and probably won’t ever be ordering from you again.

Was visiting my brother at CSU and he suggested this place. Ate the La Canna Italian sandwich. Bread was nice and crispy, meats had good flavor and it had just the right amount of dressing. Overall a great sandwich. And they have a little Tiki bar inside so you can get some drinks if needed. Will definitely be back.

I eat here on a regular basis. The food is always good. Some things could be improved like the service at the bar. I would still recommend this place to my friends. Oh yea, why don’t you deliver to Mulberry and Summit View?

Awesome toasted subs! I now drive past Cheyenne WY to stop in Ft. Collins for these amazing subs. The theme is amusing even for the non MJ smoking crowd. Wish they had their own parking lot since parallel parking is not my forte, but these subs are worth hitting the curb a couple times.

I don’t smoke pot(for personal psychological reasons only), but that’s quite okay since they’re a sandwich shop and not a dispensary. Whether your munchies are cannabis-induced or not, Cheba Hut has the solution. I know that wheat is the healthier option, but it simply can’t compete with the garlic bread when I’m hungry. Do you want fresh jalapeños or pickled? Yes! Do you want parmesan and oregano? Yes! House dressing(their own vinaigrette)? Yes! Actually, you should be careful with the house dressing if you already have a lot of acidic things, like mustard, pickles, and pickled jalapeños, on your sandwich. You can also opt for a non-toasted sub, but I wouldn’t recommend it. I go for their«secret stash» sandwiches every time. With three kinds of meat(one of them is BACON), chipotle mayo, jalapeños, pepper jack cheese, fresh lettuce and tomatoes, parm and oregano, and a dash of house dressing all on toasted garlic bread, the Northern Lights simply f*ckin’ satisfies. There’s no other way to put it. I’m also a big fan of salami(and bacon), so the 5 – 0 is another favorite. My wife is a fan of the White Widow, a chicken ranch sub. Cheba Hut has one thing that none of my other favorite cheap sandwich dives have: a beer bar with local taps. Ver’ nice.

I love this place, even if it isn’t my favorite sandwich shop in FoCo… The staff is always super friendly, and the sandwiches are great and fresh! Plus I love the marijuana theme, as I find it super humorous, even if I don’t smoke. This one I believe is the original location, and is the best since it has a bar in it as well! Though I do really like the one on Elizabeth cause the owner is super rad and would always remember who I was whenever I came in. So here are some tips, so there is a sandwich called a white widow, which is good, but I prefer, the«red widow,» which isn’t on the menu, but tell them and they will know! It is a bit spicier then the white widow since they use their spicy red chicken. Also if you get someone who has been in their for a long time, ask for a gonzo. Not many who still remember this sandwich, but it is great! It has turkey, pepper jack, guacamole, bacon, and cream cheese, and then whatever other toppings you want! YUUMMM!!! It’s my favorite specialty sandwich they ever made! Also, this place has Kool-ade as a drink, which is pretty cool. Plus their munchies bowl is usually pretty rad with different rice crispy treat concoctions! So this place is a must try, again, even if it isn’t the best sandwich place in town, it is pretty close. Definitely WAY better than the $ 5 footlong place…

I have visited the Cheba Hut for many years now. Maybe about once every 18 months to 2 years. With such infrequent visits, it would make it very easy to tell if quality or conditions were slipping. Oddly it seems to get incrementally better all the time. They have a recipe for success, and that recipe is making absolutely awesome sandwiches with plenty of the best ingredients. My personal recommendation is the toasted«Five-O» which includes Ham, salami, prosciutto, bacon, pepperoni & cheddar cheese. Order it on garlic«herb» bread, add extra bacon, guacamole, and some spicy mustard. It makes my mouth water just thinking about it.

Awesome sandwiches, and the atmosphere is great for a sub shop. Friendly people wait on you and don’t make you feel dumb for not being in the 4⁄20 know.

Tonight we had a disappointing encounter with Fort Collin’s Cheba Hut. I’ve had it a million times at the boulder branch so i know exactly what i wanted when i ordered delivery. The White widow, absolutely the best the chain has to offer. We got two tonight and man, they where disappointing. Everything was fine with the sandwich except there wasn’t any ranch sauce on it or none i could find. The white widows I’ve had in the past at the boulder branch where slathered in the dankest ranch sauce ever. I’d say it really ‘makes’ the sandwich. However without it its just… a dry, sad, warm, sandwich. The reason they still get two stars though is because the dude that delivered the sandwiches seemed like a friendly guy, and the girl that took my order also seemed cool too. All encounters i had with the staff where pleasant, so no real problem here with the staff or service what so ever. I wonder if they just ran out of ranch sauce for the sandwiches and just… did it up anyways. Who knows. I guess as a discerning, sober, late night food delivery aficionado, I’m just a little disappointed. I’m not saying I’m not gonna order from here again, I’m just planning on getting a little ranch on the side so I’m sure to get some, i’ll just DIY it and throw it on the sandwich my self. It could of just be a busy night or maybe they just ran out of the 1 component i wanted the most, eather way with somewhat high sandwich the prices here, having a disapointing sandwich goes from being disappointing to a bummer, especially when you order two of the same sandwiches. So long story short, Nice Staff, Disappointing Sammy. I’ll likely try again because i know the chain is capable of more.
