There is so much to see here. Very cute items. Everything seems pricey though. Everything I picked up thinking it cost around $ 15 was about $ 30. It is a boutique style store though. My low star rating though is actually because the owner/staff member followed my mom and I around the whole time. I felt like she thought we’d shoplift or something. She just stood close by everywhere we walked. It was creepy. I was very offended. That experience ruined this place for me honestly.

I never really paid much attention to toy stores before having kids, but now I’m always on the lookout for great toy stores with great toys and Clothes Pony is just that! Hardly any of their stuff is made in China, which I love! They have a fantastic selection of toys and some of the neatest things that you would never find in Target or Toys R Us. They also have some clothes, and maternity gear. I got the cutest wooden toys for my baby boy, made local here in Colorado and safe for him to chew on. I will definitely recommend this toy store to anyone who has kids or is shopping for kids.

SUCH a cool toy store– for kids of course but fun to browse as adult. When I need to get a quality gift for a special child I come here first. I don’t have my own children so I really appreciate the helpful attitude and great knowledge of the staff here. They are always glad to make a recommendation about what is popular or getting good reviews– and these aren’t always the expensive options! I always get compliments from the kids & parents I have shopped for here. There is a great selection of learning/educational toys, lots of baby goods, cool clothes and a huge book selection. Also, the puppet & stuffed animal selection is HUGE! Things can be a little pricey but hey– it isn’t target and it is worth it for the quality and experience.

Cute store, but overpriced for their inventory. Most toys can be purchased on Amazon for 1⁄3 of the price or across town at Target for ½ the price. I like to support local, but have been disappointed with the service here on several occasions. They have a terrible return policy. They only give store credit, even when you bring something back with a receipt. Great for grandparents & those that are willing to pay the extra price for gifts. Not great for moms who want to buy great stuff, but also want to be sensible with their wallets. Wish they carried stuff that was worth the extra penny(high end high chairs, strollers, different furniture).

What a gem in Fort Collins! Absolutely loved stopping in and checking out the great selection of toys and clothes. Son had a blast playing and seeing unique items, it was a nice stop and rest in an adorable downtown setting. I bought a cute shirt that is unique and fun and my son has gotten loads of compliments when he wears it. This place is HUGE so it can be a bit overwhelming but I highly recommend stopping in.

WOW. First off, I am a 20-something adult, and I don’t have kids. I was on my way to the Eyes Have It(which is right next store) and I stopped in just because. This is the coolest toy store I’ve ever been in. There was not only clothes, but board games, sports gear, dolls, brain teasers, fun little oddities, puppets, books, everything. There was a HUGE variety for a large age range. This store makes me want to have kids. Just so I can shop here. Yes, it’s that cool.

This is a fantastic children’s store! We needed diaper liners and figured this was probably one of the only places we could count on them. The lady who helped is was lovely and didn’t know too much about cloth diapers but confident someone else would have been able to help if we were novices in cloth diapers. She was however super helpful in telling us about some locally made toys and clothes! It’s beautiful and has a very nice bathroom for families!

What a great toy store! It is packed full of great toys that are not available at the chains. In addition, they stock some amazing kids clothes. The staff was great and ready to help.

Stumbled on this store, and was greeted by the owner who simply said to my grandson, ‘please, touch everything’. And that friends is the motto of this store that handles all sorts of clever toys, plus an expanding shoe store for moms and grandparents. Service and vibe can’t be beat, and if you are exhausted from shopping simply head upstairs to the yoga studio.

Best toy store EVER. Friendly and constantly helpful staff. Locally owned and operated. Personal customer service. Educational, unique toys. Amazing women’s shoes and maternity clothing and jewelry. Weekly toddler play and singing groups. Art studio upstairs. This place is the hub of Fort Collins’ kids and parents! There is something for absolutely everyone here!

Black Friday may not be the day to go here. My mother-in-law and I were just a little overwhelmed… because there’s so much to look at; but on top of that, there were so many kids and shoppers! I didn’t expect(maybe given the name) for the store to be all that big — or have much aside from kids’ clothes. But that’s not the case at all. There are tons of toys(books, puzzles, educational items, stuffed animals, etc.), for all ages. Gifts for momma. And yeah, cutie baby booties, hats, onesies, and the like. Staff was really friendly, and eager to help if you’re having trouble sorting through the impressive stock.

There are a lot of great things in Ft. Collins: Horsetooth Reservoir, CSU, Lucile’s, New Belgium… The best of them all is Dandelion Toys! OK, so that’s a little bit of hyperbole. Truthfully, though, this is a wonderful toy store, stocked with quality toys and populated by fantastic people who are happy to work there and are knowledgeable about nearly everything there. There are clothes, toys, shoes, and costumes for every occasion and every age, and a hands-on attitude. I’m a Colorado Native, living in Chicago, and my wife and I both consider this one of the best toy stores around, period. When we go back at Thanksgiving, we’ll be shopping there for our daughter and shipping the toys home, just so we do our part to keep Dandelion Toys’ doors open.
