Karen and I recently re-discovered this joint last Friday night 4÷11÷14. Its on the south side of town, not far from our house so its convenient. Also, it has designated Motorcycle parking right in front so its easy to keep an eye on the scoot. The Bad– Crazy Jacks has gone thru a few different ownership cycles over the last few years. Currently, it is Crazy Jacks in the front and club Herradurra in the back. To say they suffer from a bit of an identity crisis is an UNDERSTATEMENT. Strange Mix of Bikers in the front and Latino music fans in back. The two areas are distinct and separate so there is not much co-mingling going on. The Good– This place has been known for their Chicken wings for years, and they are still the BEST in Fort Collins hands down! Also, PBR on tap! prices are extremely affordable. Karaōke was going on that night so they had a decent little crowd in there(more than i had seen in a while at least). The young gal that was bartending that night was absolutely awesome! Friendly, prompt and a good singer to boot. Service was not the strong suit in this place in the past so that was great to see. Karen and I ended up staying alot longer than we planned because the service was so good and the atmosphere was fun. Karen and I will definitely be back!

Crazy Jack’s Saloon is a place we frequent mainly because of the cheap beer and tasty hot-wings. It’s about halfway between Loveland and Fort Collins in a less-than-flashy location, but is our kind of place. It’s always a mixed crowd but definitely not a college bar. Atmosphere: The décor inside has a 50’s diner feel to it, which is a little strange for a dive bar, but appear on the newer side. The lighting is perfectly dim even in the middle of the day. There is a jukebox in the corner full of recognizable songs if you where born before 1990. Service: Good service, usually provided by the bartender. The owner seems to always be around to lend a hand. Drinks: Your usual selection of local craft and domestic brews at a very affordable price. They are a bit lacking in the import beer department. A full bar, however no drink menu. Seems to be your average beer and a shot kind of joint. So if your looking for something with an umbrella, you’ll need to bring your own. Food: The menu is a standard«bar menu» including burgers, wings, sandwiches and fried appetizers in the $ 5 to $ 8 range. Their big draw is the«Famous Jumbo Wings» with order sizes from 6 to 50 wings and a variety of flavors. They offer a flaming inferno wing challenge that will cost you an extra $.50, a few minutes of lip tingling, and some sweat on your brow — for real.

I really like it here. The wings are the best I’ve found in town; nice and greasy, good spice, and messy. Good live bands periodically as well as karaōke and poker nights and stuff. Reasonably priced too. A bit of a dive-y biker bar, but I dig it.

I dig this place. I am all about dive bars and if you are not then stay away. The beer is cheap and the wings are real good. I love the dark ambiance and pool tables too. My one complaint is the juke box totally blows. There are a few 80’s songs and the rest is country. Anyway — the kicker was the back room for 80’s night on friday’s that I must attend sometime soon!

Stopped by for wings after reading a few reviews. Excellent wings with many flavors to choose from. Huge meaty drummies or flats. You can’t go wrong. Great wait staff also.

Sometimes you just need a break from the hoards of frat boys and CSU students that roost in old town. What better way to celebrate your spatial freedom than by downing a ton of wings in a bar with a group of your closest friends? Stop soul-searching now. There is no better way. If you want the best wings in Fort Collins, Crazy Jacks is there for you. They have a capacious set-up with pool tables galore. They even have a club, eponymously named at that — I must admit I have not ventured into it quite yet, but I plan to on a very«slovenly» evening. Though the bar has recently done away with 50 cent wing night [insert sad face here], I’ve been informed that the menu is being re-vamped and will shortly be more spectacular than ever! Updates to come.
