Dryology

Two of my friends and I each had a voucher for one of three services (cut, blowout or highlights). Wanting to make a girls day of it we scheduled our appointments together for this morning. When we showed up at our scheduled time nobody was there. We waited about a half hour thinking maybe they were just running late and tried calling several times and left a couple messages but never got a response. I was really excited about getting some new highlights for summer but now I’m really disappointed in their lack of communication in regards to our missed appointments. Definitely wouldn’t refer anyone to them or the stylist (the confirmation text I got yesterday said her name was Jules) we had appointments with after that.

Dryology is a decent place to get your hair done. I’ve been 3 times and seen 2 different stylists. Most recently Maddie cut my hair. She did a nice job and listened well, but one side is longer than the other. She did not push product which I sincerely appreciate. While the cut is nice, I didn’t have the «WOW, I love it» moment. The staff is pretty causal, there are not a lot of extras included in the experience. In the past, even though I didn’t take it, i was always offered a glass of wine.
Not overwhelmed or underwhelmed, it’s just an expensive haircut.

I had chosen this place on a recommendation. After speaking of my experience, I really felt like they generally didn’t know were not 100% sure what they were doing. My sister thought my hair looked exactly as it did when it came in. My sister’s hair was fantastic! Upon entrance the place doesn’t look very organized and the drink/​refreshment area looks like it was thrown together. They don’t have beer or wine as some commenters have mentioned. You might have to get it yourself because again, they didn’t seem to know how to do that. When checking out and paying it was very confusing and difficult and I had to argue about my birthday coupon. I showed it to them and they were telling me that they didn’t send it to me and that they don’t carry what I was sent. Again, disorganization. They seem like nice people, but I’m not interested in going back. There are many other places that would be better.

I am not sure what is happening at this place. New Staff? Rude receptionist. Stylist are not educated in the typical blowouts I have received before. I am not impressed anymore. I will not be back and I am telling all my friends.

I love Dryology! The location, building, and design are awesome! I have only had the opportunity to experience Dryology once, but I can’t wait to go back. I was in desperate need of a trim, and their online appointment booking was super simple and convenient. I received the perfect cut, and the wash and blow dry left my hair feeling great. Even 10 days and several washes later, it still feels so soft!
You owe it to yourself to try Dryology.

Where to start. Dryology is the place to go if you want to feel like a million bucks. The staff is sweet, fun and honest! They’re up to par with the latest trends and knowledgable about hair care. I buy all of my Kevin’s Murphy products here when in town. The best blowouts, cuts, color and wine!

I love all the people who work here. They are fun and friendly and easy to chat with– which is what you want when you’re spending hours getting your hair done. It’s a clean and open spot and they offer you drinks from water to beer and wine. They also have awesome products that are worth spending the cash for.
This is my complaint. I came on so many occasions to get funky colored hair and never really got the results I asked for even with pictures. I asked for an all over funky color which I assume means that all of my hair will be dyed blonde and then when the color goes in and washes out my head will be all of that color, from scalp to tips. Well, it wasn’t but was told to give it a few washes and it will be perfect.
I did everything the stylist advised: wash my hair once a week with expensive but helpful products etc. in 3 washes the color was gone and my hair was blonde when I was advised that after 8 washes I would be due back in. So after three weeks I called to say my hair was no longer the funky color and was asked to come back to get it touched up.
I’m not pushy so when I was asked to pay $ 150 on top of the almost $ 300 I paid last time, I was kind of miffed but didn’t have the guts to argue… I still didn’t get the all over color I asked for and it washed out way sooner than I was told.
Sorry, I really loved this place and I definitely came in a handful of times to give it a chance but after hundreds spent to be told to wait for my perfect look to only have it wash out… No more.

I could go on and on about how rad this spot is, but I’m gonna defer to the simple bottom line on this joint:
I drive from Denver to get my wig chopped by Jules. An’ I drive an 88 Lincoln Towncar, so’ I’m pushin’ 14 mpg at the best of times. I will never complain about this.

April 14, 2014 — Here we are Monday morning. The one day I dread getting up because it’s normally a day I have to put a bunch of work into my hair. But not this Monday.
I saw Abby Friday at 3:30. As a skeptic I was expecting my hair style to last me through my husbands surprise party Friday night and then need to shower what I was expecting to be a gross amount of stiff, heavy product out of my hair. I mean my hair doesn’t look exactly the same as when I walked out your doors Friday, but I’ll be damned if through 3 sleeps, multiple brushings and countless ponytails from chasing after a two year old it still doesn’t look fabulous.
You’ve sold me on your blowouts.
As if that wasn’t enough, even though one of your stylists was running a couple minutes late, another stepped in to wash my hair and was incredibly conversational and made me feel comfortable in a new salon.
Kudos to you Dryology. You have this niche nailed. You’ll be seeing me again.

So happy to have found this salon! They do awesome blowouts and styles. I got the membership and just started getting my hair cut and colored there by Jules. Now I can get it all done at the same salon. I have naturally curly hair that was getting really bad split ends, breakage and frizz. I started using the Kevin Murphy products that they sell and my hair is so soft and healthy now. I highly recommend using the Young Again Mask and treatment oil. It changed my hair after the 1^st use. I never thought my hair could look this good. Love this place!!!

Had to travel before I had time to do my hair… Stumbled upon this jewel of a hair salon!!! Fun edgy staff, they did exactly what I needed! Awesome location, great decoration and ambiance. Had a lot of compliments for my hair that day!!!
Would highly recommend checking this place out for men, women and kids! Please open one in LA!!!

I love this place! I have super thick, long hair, It usually takes over an hour to blow out and style. My arms get tired. I love that Colorado now has its very first Blow Out Salon.
Dryology has a wonderful staff of friendly, enthusiastic stylists. I had the opportunity for the Co Owner, Jules Urich, to style my hair. She is professional, warm and funny. By the time I was done, I had the smoothest, wonderfully smelling hair. She used fabulous products like Moroccan Oil to make my hair super shiny.
Although I had a traditional blow out. They offer several style options if you want a little more.
The front desk was friendly and funny as well. Jennifer Freeman, Co Owner, made sure my visit was comfortable by offering free wine and chocolate. FREE WINE!
I will definitely visit Dryology whenever I can!
