I came to Dynamik Ceramix as part of a group, and I’ve got to say that I had a lot of fun. I haven’t painted anything like this since I was in elementary school probably, and I’m definitely not the most artistic or creative, but I like how my piece came out. I believe studio costs are generally $ 8, plus the costs of your ceramic piece. I chose the cookie dunk mug, and decided to paint it like Cookie Monster :) They had a pretty wide selection of ceramic pieces ranging from $ 5 and up, as well as what I thought was a decent selection of paints and stencils. Some of the paints were speckled too, so that’s an interesting choice. You do have to clean up after yourself, or apparently they charge you an extra $ 3 I think, but it’s not that big a deal. We painted on Sunday, and unfortunately I couldn’t pick up until Saturday afternoon, as they don’t fire them that often and they need time to cool. All in all, it was a nice afternoon diversion and would be fun to do with kids, to make a gift, or with some friends.

They suck. The woman at the front desk had nasty breath and insisted I write in permanent paint the number of my ticket on my mug as if someone else had painted the exact same thing on theirs with the exact same initials. She was very aggressive in telling me this and for a second I thought she had morphed into an ogre. I was mistaken however. And also I wanted my boyfriend to help me paint as we didn’t have much time left and she said that she would be charging me another $ 8 studio fee if he did because«he’s painting too.» I guess she thinks boys eat the paint or something because he would obviously use $ 8 worth on his own. Also the bathroom had no toilet paper so that was lovely. Oh and the door didn’t lock so I had to sit there in fear that someone would catch me poopin.

I love this place. I read the review below and it is outdated. This place has a new staff that is amazing. Dynamic Ceramic is my go to place to hang out when I’m feeling creative. Always clean, I’ve never had to wait for a table to paint. There are a ton of pieces to choose from with all different prices so you can feel pretty confident with what you pick. There’s a pretty good selection of colors to choose from, plus they do have specialty glazes for you to choose from. Pieces are always fired on time and they’ll box you’re creation for you if you need, no charge. It’s a great environment not just for kids, but everybody, college kids and seniors included. I’ve never felt out of place here. I recommend it to every one I know.
