Having seen numerous Fazoli’s locations, I’ve never given the concept of fast Italian much hope. We decided to try it on a whim, not with high hopes.
Boy were we surprised.
We each had the $ 5 lunch special, with all different items. One item came out wrong, but it was a fine substitution and the staff was really concerned about getting the correct order, despite my insistence that what I got was the choice I debated on anyway.
We each loved the quality of the special, as well as the extra slice of pizza we ordered out of curiosity. The bread is light, fluffy and buttery tasty.
Speaking of bread, we were offered more bread sticks as we took our bite, and twice more after. We took her up on it. The sticks were hot and delicious.
Overall, while we didn’t have high expectations for Fazoli’s we were completely pleased and want one in our local area.

Better than Olive Garden! The restaurant is always clean and food is good. I’ve been to Olive Garden a few times and spent $ 80-$ 100 and its not even close to as good. Not a big fan of the pepperoni pizza but my kids seem to love it and since each entrée comes with one, it’s a great way to feed two adults and two kids for cheap! You get unlimited garlic breadsticks which are always hot and soft.

First time I went in, I asked the girl at the counter what to have. She suggested the Fazoli’s Original, which was a mighty fine sandwich. Next time I visited, I ordered the meatball sub, and that was decent as well. However, the following visit, I ordered the twice baked lasagna. The pasta tasted a lot like Chef Boyardee. It seemed to contain a meat sauce as opposed to seasoned beef, and the meat, although tasty, was lacking. It wasn’t AWFUL, but definitely mediocre. It was actually kind of what I expected. On the plus side of things, the staff is awesome! Always friendly and knowledgable. I think I’m going to try the pizza, but the subs are so good it’s going to be hard to deviate.

On my way home from school I felt like picking up some baked spaghetti to eat at home. It was convenient to pull up in the drive through, got my meal and drink, and headed home.
As I ate and got close to the bottom in completion, I came across a large, dead, black beetle of some sort, baked into the spaghetti. I almost puked. I immediately drove back and demanded a refund, in which the MANAGER proceeded to only refund me half of my meal, because I had thrown the receipt away.
HELLO?! I work in a restaurant and I know for a fact you can re-print receipts and recent transactions. He immediately took my defiled aluminum bowl and proceeded to explain that they get all their food frozen from a warehouse, so it’s not their fault and gave me half my money back.
Gross. Perhaps if I had gotten a full refund for finding a nasty insect in my food, and wasn’t fed excuses, I would try eating here again because I love their breadsticks and the food is decent. But, never again. No way.

We had dinner here last night while we were in Fort Collins. Liked the improvements they had done to the interior of the place. They seemed to have raised prices here way up. My wife and I were both surprised to see practically every combo meal was in the 7.99 to 8.99 range which is too high for a fast food joint in our opinion. For these kind of prices we might as well go to a restaurant and have a higher quality meal. The food we ordered was fair, I had spaghetti with meat sauce and they did not give you enough meat sauce so half of my meal was simply cooked noodles. The breadsticks were the best part which is a little disappointing to say with the pricing in here now. The staff was very friendly to us on a positive note. If you raise prices you need to give bigger portions of food and not be so stingy on meat sauce for spaghetti in there. Our overall visit was ho-hum, nothing special.

Love this place! My dad used to bring me here when I was a kid… nothing’s changed. Still the same great affordable food! Oh, and you get unlimited awesome breadsticks!
