Love their bakery and their baguettes are the best in Northern Colorado by far. We went in for breakfast the other day and the restaurant food was also great. Everything, including our brioche, were freshly made. We’ve been looking and I think we just found our breakfast place. Can’t wait to try some more of their food!

Bakery review: I’ve been to the bakery side probably half a dozen times, because I adore their stuffed croissants! Ham and cheese is my favorite, but the tomato and mushroom was also very good. I’ve also had some sweet pastries and their baguette. If you haven’t already, visit the bakery!

LOVE this place. Bakery and restaurant are on point. Very friendly gentleman at the Bakery counter — thank you! I will continue to make this place a must when we visit.

Nice place if you’re in the mood for French style Breakfast/brunch. The seating situation can feel a little cramped, although some may say its cozy. Food is flavorful, but for the price for two, I’ve had better. The service/staff could be a bit more welcoming and attentive. A note to consider. .*walk with cash * this place does not take credit cards

Fool me twice… Okay, I want to like this place, je t’adore les crepes, and really, really wanted this place to be wonderful, but each time that I’ve been here it’s been a nightmare. The Cash Only /ATM fees are the least of their worries, money is money regardless of how you trade it(except when there’s a fee, which is meh, but whatever). Also, the parking lot is inadequate, but that’s also not that big of a deal. Personally, I think the décor and tiny tables are cute, but who cares… the service is atrocious. Each time that I’ve been to this place we are immediately sat, and then forgotten about, only left to stare at other customers who also appear dismayed at their lack of even the smallest bit of timely attention. When we were actually addressed, we ordered our coffee and were not revisited again for probably 15 minutes, either with the coffee or to take our orders. We had to actually flag someone down to ask about both. On the first occasion, which was a couple of months prior, I had ordered the Suzette. A hint of Grand Marnier? Yeah, right. I may has well have ordered a shot of the stuff and poured onto the plate, the overly saturated raspberries rendered them entirely void of taste other than the liqueur. The service at this time was paltry, I told the waitress but she had no comment and reconciliation for us. But that didn’t stop us and we decided it was probably a one-off. Nope, on this occasion, I ordered the crepes with raspberry, strawberry, chocolate and almonds. Seems simple enough, right? The dish came out, and sure, all of these things were included, but the crêpe itself was burned to the point that the sweetness of the fruits could not overcome it. Given the lack of service coordination, organization, and the obviously disregarded quality of the food being served, I don’t see this place currently deserving of any repeat business if they can’t figure out how to reconcile these egregious errors.

I took my mom out for brunch. The waitress was new to the floor. What was horrid was how terrible the cooks were for this restaurant. We’ve been there before and it was fantastic. We came back expecting the food to be great. It was not. I had a crêpe with banana and Nutella. Easy. Served cold. The other item ordered was Crepes Suzette. It was served halfway through my entrée. It was also cold. It had raspberries that were not ripe! Sour! Something that looked like whipped cream piped around the edge. That was it. We were there for an hour. Mom didn’t get any edible food. She ordered what is croissant french toast to go. We paid and left. When we got home and opened the box? The food was burnt. Not light burnt. Blackened burnt. I went back and said give me a refund and let me talk to the manager. We did get a refund. No manager to talk to? I gave 5.00 to the waitress. She deserved better too.

I wish there was a way to leave NOSTARATALL! My husband and I loved the restaurant and went there at least once a week, if not more often than that. However, when we went in there to get breakfast two days ago, something terrible happened. After we ordered our food my husband started to complain about the area near his both elbows being itchy. When I took a look for him I was so surprised to see the terrible hives/rash that was all over his near-elbow-area. He wore a shirt that day and set his elbows on the table, meaning his elbows made direct contact to the edge of the table. They didn’t sanitize that table well enough that’s why my husband got terrible hives!(again, only in the area where he made direct contact with the table) After what happened, I lost my appetite(how can you eat after you just saw something that’s very gross-looking?). I ordered a crêpe but eventually had it to go after one bite. I tried to let the waitress know when that happened but my husband thought the hives were too disgusting to be seen, so I only let her know that the table was not sanitized and requested to get another table. I was so surprised that the waitress didn’t even clean the table before she got another group seated ATTHEVERYSAMETABLE! Well, at least the old lady who sat at my husband’s spot wore a sweater. The way they dealt with the situation is totally unacceptable! I already told you the table is not cleaned but you got someone else seated without cleaning it anyway! Seriously you put your customers in danger by doing that. I don’t think we’ll go back anytime soon. It’s difficult to find a good restaurant but it’s better than getting sick when you just wanna go out to eat!

The food is good, but one star for not taking credit cards. A racket for the ATM company in the lobby I guess. When it works. When it doesn’t, you have to walk across the street to the 7 – 11 to pay your bill. I feel like I’m buying drugs. Wait. Maybe that’s why they only take cash. They are laundering money for Walter White.

Enjoyed the Crepes Beignet with creamed spinach, swiss cheese, tomatoes and ham! Have enjoyed anything served so far and the coffee is great! Don’t forget to visit the bakery on your way out! Yum!

Love this place. Service is a tad slow but they are small and get packed. Food is excellent! I have been here many times and I am always impressed. This is my go to place for out of town guests. One thing– bring cash. They don’t take credit or debit cards. They do have an ATM in the restaurant in case you forget cash.

***this review is for the bakery only*** Probably the best french macarons in Colorado. Certainly you cannot beat the price vs how big and yummy the macarons are. And the selection of macarons is endless. I also tried other items from the bakery section, and was never disappointed. A must place to visit for baked goods addicts like me. The cash only model is frustrating. While they do have an ATM inside, none wants to pay the withdrawal fees. I do not tend to carry any cash on me at all, and always forget that the bakery does not accept cash.

Lunch time with a girl friend and we walked here from CSU. We were quickly seated on the patio and even though it was nearly closing time were treated with great service the entire time. I had french onion soup — great, not too salty and good cheese ratio. I also had the lemon crêpe and this was very good and I rounded out with a chocolate éclair which was fabulous slightly warm. My friend had a savory crêpe and an éclair and also enjoyed both. Not too expensive, good food, great bakery — thankfully I don’t live too close or I’d be going daily!

I enjoyed visiting La Creperie last week. My parents who were from out of state enjoyed visiting La Creperie, especially the bakery side. We ordered about $ 60 worth of treats. However, I do have one complaint… on the bakery side you either sit at the counter or outdoor seating. There is not enough seating on the bakery side. There was not an available table outside on the patio when we were there, so I asked the waitress over in the restaurant if we could sit at one of the booths, order drinks from them and snack on our treats we bought from the bakery side. She said«no». She said it was only for folks wanting to order a meal. La Creperie you need to improve your seating and stopping turning folks away who want to sit over in the restaurant area. I should be able to sit over there even if I’am ordering something, whether it’s a food item or drink.

This place is so cute, a great menu, and very attentive and friendly staff; so why 2 stars you ask. Well the stars are for the décor, and staff. The food was very bland, and while I’ve never been to France I’m pretty sure they use salt, and seasonings there. I had the Enzo’s Fav, which is a roasted(bland)!chicken and(bland) mushroom sandwich with lettuce, and mustard sauce(aka, watered down mayo, with no flavor). Thankfully I remembered seeing a Pablano sauce on the menu, and requested a side to see if that tasted of anything other than air. It was much better than anything else, except I had to share it with rest of my table, because their sandwich«avocado cream cheese» was equally bland. This place would be a great dining experience if the food had flavor. What a bummer!

Everything is so delicious. I just love the atmosphere of this café-bakery with its colorful paintings, displays, and cute decorations. I’ve never been to France but I imagine this is what it would be like, a busy corner café with character and great food. We were first drawn to the bakery when we stopped by, and loved their recommended cinnamon nut roll. The next time, we tried their breakfast-brunch restaurant selections and it was also amazing. This time, he got the French toast croissant and I got the pancake crêpe. Their presentation is so pretty I can’t help take pictures of it. So far, our wait times have been under 15 minutes too, not bad really, but you can tell it does get busy often. This is my favorite bakery and café in the area though. Just remember to bring cash or check! Also, to answer the question about parking, we just park in the open lot behind the adjacent Indian restaurant — i’m not sure who it belongs to but it has plenty of parking spots and has never been a problem.

We came for breakfast — it was Mom’s birthday! It was good, and the staff was friendly. Between the 3 of us, it was $ 54, though. All we had to drink was coffee(GOOD coffee — pot on table, a nice touch!) and an entrée. That’s it. DO the math. The food was pretty, the omlettes large, and the choices varied enough. No low carb option though. Or light. I did decide on a «GALETTES savory paper thin organic buckwheat crêpe» with about ¾ cup filling, «Californian: avocado, cream cheese, black olives, tomato, scallion $ 11.00» What is worth the money there?

MMMMM! I relish La Creperie as an example of Frenchness in Northern Colorado. I’m not a sweets person, but I come for the galettes and have never gone wrong. The service is usually about average. Be warned that folks come here to ENJOY breakfast, and that may mean sitting with coffee ½ hour after they’ve finished eating. The adjoining sweet shop/bakery can help you placate your wife/girlfriend if you’ve managed to piss them off. Many of the disparaging comments about this place seem to come from the folks who can’t be bothered to plan for a 30-second stop at an ATM on the way in. I don’t think you CAN make these types of folks happy.

Update: Well, knocking them down to one star now — there was a public discussion yesterday on a Facebook page about this place, and the owner of this restaurant, ignoring everyone’s valid concerns, choose to instead jump into the conversation with a very poorly written, unprofessional and childish outburst against one tiny comment made about whether or not they actually donate their would-be card fees. This was an opportunity for them to write up their own explanation for why they don’t use cards, what their business model is, apologize for any poor service, etc. — instead we got a teenage-text-message-esque rant complete with a dozen exclamation points. If that’s how they choose to publicly promote their business, I choose to have no more business with them. Fin… Original review: I’ve been on a 3-star review roll lately here on Unilocal… Huh. Well, I just can’t justify give La Crêpe any higher for now. This is another of those places I really really want to love, but just can’t. Problem 1: I don’t carry cash, and this place does not take cards(though they are happy to provide an ATM w/fee charge by the door… plus your bank’s fee… worked out to be about $ 3.50 for me last time. Ugh.). Can’t tell you how many more times I would come here — except as I’m driving by I realize I don’t have cash and don’t want to deal with the hassle of getting cash elsewhere and coming back, or dealing with the cost of using their ATM. The macaroons are amazing, and irresistible if I’m standing in front of the bakery display with cash in hand — but I’ve learned it’s also fairly easy to drive on by with the promise of «another time maybe»… Ok, ok, #firstworldproblems for sure. But still a problem. And that means they don’t get my business very much. They seem busy though, so I guess other people still carry cash or don’t mind. Problem 2: When I have eaten here, the prices are high, the food is of varied quality, and the service has been lousy. Kind of like France! Haha! Seriously though, I took a friend out for breakfast here for her birthday, we spent close to $ 50 – 55. Plus the ATM fee. Argh. And while the crepes and galletes can be amazing, they can also be «meh», dry or unflavorful(or, in the case of the last time I went, so oversoaked in liquored sauce that it was basically an alcoholic soggy mess). The macaroons are the only thing that I have consistently experienced as amazing, and it’s true, I do dream of them sometimes. But for me, I will continue to get my French fix by making a day of it and driving down to Longmont to go to the wonderful Cheese Importers shop and restaurant — equally fun ambience and family-run feel, delicious French onion soup, fantastic cheese refrigerator(the size of a shop itself! And with free samples!) and a European-style shop that will keep you busy for an hour at least just looking around. And impulsively buying things. With your card. ;)

I must say I was disappointed to see that this place only has 3 stars. For a place that isn’t so good we had to wait 30 minutes for a table and the house was packed! We all must have bad taste buds. Haha Well worth the wait!!! Great place to come and get breakfast or delicious desserts!
