Sales is all about customer service, right? The best jewelry store at pre-judging and being condescending in Old Town Fort Collins. I went in with my grandmother to find a Christmas present for my girlfriend and the older and shoulder-length grey-haired sales lady laughed at me when I asked for a belly-button-length necklace(which is what my girlfriend requested and owns a few of already). She told me «I don’t know what your budget is but…», she asked if my girlfriend’s ears were pierced(we are both 23), and she told me she could show me this bracelet but«it’s expensive». It was Christmas time and I was looking for one piece of nice jewelry. I didn’t feel welcome and the lady was good at making me feel pretty dumb for not knowing my girlfriends wrist size for a bracelet. I spoke briefly with an older grey-haired gentleman she asked for advice, he was surprisingly short with us, too. So all in all, I felt like I was dumb for shopping there. Being a sales manager for a team of eight, I felt like someone of her experience should take care of her customers and ask what they are looking for, then provide a personalized solution. It’s too bad because there was a $ 220 bracelet I really liked but I can’t bring myself to purchase from their business and ill probably purchase something online.
