As the only bookstore specializing in Mormon literature and related material in a vast area, Moroni Books is hardly open to comparison. It is the only store in this niche that serves parts of Wyoming, Nebraska, and Kansas, as well as Northern Colorado. «About This Business» lists the products they offer. The selection of books on Mormon doctrines and on the Book of Mormon seem current and the books themselves seem fairly high quality. Some of the children’s games, probably familiar to Mormons, are a bit unusual and look like fun. Some of the framed pictures are nicely done and do have an inspiring quality to them; others are less exciting. Likewise, some of the journals are attractive. The jewelry is inexpensive. The statuary seems a bit plain, but maybe that is not the store’s fault. The clerks have always been pleasant and helpful. The store and products are always clean. Because it is a bit small, book shelves are close to one another. They would do well to move to a larger store and broaden their inventory. Lighting is fair. Prices are comparable to other bookstores. I would recommend this store even to non-Mormons because of the interesting books and games I found. (I am not a Mormon.) 3÷31÷2013 — Though Moroni was easily accessible at its previous site, it was farther from the main road, and kind of isolated. The new site is even more easily accessible, and neighbored by one or two other interesting establishments. I do note the floor space is diminished, and thus also the inventory. That’s unfortunate. But they are happy to order any Deseret or other Mormon products they do not carry, for you if you ask. And if you don’t ask, they’ll probably volunteer to do it anyway, if you show an interest in something they don’t carry.
