Good stuff going on here. I work near by and the smell always makes me hungry. Buck a bone on mondays! I only have one real beef(haha) with this place. The bbq sauce needs some work, and I say this having eaten a mountain of bbq. I’ll still be coming by!

There is so much good barbecue in the world, but we didn’t find any here. We got pulled pork sandwiches, some pulled pork for the kids, potato salad, beans, cheesy potatoes and drinks for everyone. Even my husband, who isn’t real discerning with food, wasn’t impressed. There was no flavor in the meat and the beans weren’t sweet as I expected a baked bean. The potato salad was decent. We spent $ 60& threw most of the meal away. I was looking for something less chain/commercial than Dickey’s, thinking this was a hole in the wall delicious find, but I’ll have to keep looking! The food was just plain bland.

I have reviewed many restaurants in Unilocal and this one I hate to write. But, that was possibly the worst bbq I have ever had. The brisket was so fatty and had a thick layer of fat on the edges, the cheesy potatoes were barely cooked and hard. The pinto beans were edible. We had been traveling all day and bbq sounded good to both of us. My husband had the Elgin sausage sandwich and said it was fair, potato salad average, and the Cole slaw was just ok. We called in and did carry out. It was all packed ok but that is the best thing I can say. Would not go back.

Stopped here after exploring the cache la poudre river and was extremely impressed with the food. Bbq can be hit or miss sometimes, but this place did not disappoint. The sauces are all good, my personal fave was the cherry chipotle one. I even bought a jar of their house made BBQ sauce to take home. The tacos are all good, I have the brisket one and my only gripe is that I wish the tortilla was heated. The cheesy potatoes are a must! Ate at 3 here and was filled for the rest of the day! Also, make sure you try the cool hand washing device they have in the back!

This is real Texas BBQ. No, I don’t think you understand. It really is. Peppery brisket, bold red BBQ sauce, a variety of other exciting sauces, and a roll of paper towls right on the table. That’s how to do it!

I was picking up my husband for lunch today and he was of a half an hour late later than I expected. So I just went further north to see what i can find. With intention to go to King Soopers up north i saw this place and though why not. Going in there it seems like a fun place the menu was old school written on a black board had a rough touch to it i like that. The guys at the front were really funny and friendly. I told him I was not sure what to order and he suggested to go with the«big 6» that has a little bit of the most popular items it feeds 2 to 3 people. For me and my husband usually being pretty hungry at lunch it fed and filled up the 2 of us more than enough! my favorites were the ribs and the sausages juicy and tender! the turkey and brisket were a little too dry but i will give it another shot at another lunch so far i loved it and will probably be back for ribs and sausage!

Everything about this place is trash. Food is terrible. You go here wanting actual bbq food and you watch them scrape meat out of a Tin and slap It on your plate. You will no doubt be disappointed. This is also my first Unilocal review ever, and that’s saying something.

I eat here pretty often and love the bbq. On Monday nights the ribs are $ 1 each. Great deal for delicious ribs. The turkey, brisket and sausage are all yummy! One improvement would be to add some additional sides like sweet potato fries, green beans or a side salad. It’s hard to find a side that isn’t spicy or a carb.

My favorite place to eat when I was in college! Texas tacos are something to dream about. Delicious smoked pork, cheesy potatoes, jalapeños, onions, and their signature sauce. My mouth is drooling just thinking about them! They are definitely a treat though. If you go on Friday(taco night), they used to be $ 4. I think now they might be $ 5. If you are a student, there is a free student drink deal with a school ID

Fantastic bbq at decent price. Don’t go here if you only like bbq for the sauce. This place has savory meat needing little foofoo. The iced tea is top notch. Did I mention their Texas Taco? Getcha some!!!

Good BBQ with lots of choices. We had the plate with 6 choices of meat and they were all good especially the smoked turkey. Some of the meat was dry but the sauce on the table made up for that.

Food is Good but WAYWAYWAY to expensive for what you get. Everything is sold separately. Won’t come back unless they get it right with the pricing.

Really good brisket and an intriguing BBQ sauce! Lots of outdoor seating. Good prices. Had cheesy potatos that were yummy. I ordered a half-pound of brisket take-home.

The bar-b-q here is legit but you need to go to king soopers deli next door for some respectable sides. It’s strange tasting beans or dry cheesy potatoes or nothing unfortunately. Bring on some greens or other veggies please.

Customer service is seriously lacking! The food almost makes up for it, but not quite.

Wow this place has the best BBQ! My husband and I tried their brisket, pulled pork and ribs. All so good! We sat outside and their patio rocks! The view is literally breathtaking! We are having a party in a couple of weeks and picked them to do the catering! I am sure they will not disappoint!

Dude, I love this place! Seriously Sunday is Sandwich night. $ 5.50 for any sanny and $ 2 beers. That is a killer deal. If you have hit up the mountains or some biking or maybe made the walk into the restaurant from your car, you won’t be disappointed. I got a brisket sandwhich and it was smokey and wet just the way I like it. That plus a beer for under 10 bucks is a freaking amazing deal. You might feel like passing it by because it isn’t in some falling down shack but don’t. Revel in the saftey of engeneered concreet and steel beam construction and nosh on some truly tasty BBQ

Our crew loved the sauces and salsas. Very unique, particularly delicious. So we felt compelled to move in on the desserts, which were outstanding also… peach cobbler probably the pick of the litter. Worth the long detour off I-25 if you are just passing through!

Monday night $ 1 ribs, do i need to say more? Serious Texas is great, they have daily deals which are awesome like $ 1 rib mondays. I tend to judge most BBQ places on their pulled pork and their pulled pork sandwich with cherry chiplote sauce on that is pretty good, the meat is of great quality. Many of the sides are good too however i wouldn’t recommend their cole slaw. They don’t have the best BBQ sauce that i’ve ever had but it’s way better than any texas style bbq sauce i’ve had in the area. It is sweet, but it’s much better than the super sweet texas sauces some other places offer. Overall Serious Texas Bar-B-Q is super good, they have great daily deals and everything i’ve had on their menu i’ve enjoyed. Their meats are well smoked and are always delicious. I’d recommend checking this place out.
