During a recent visit my order was incorrect and my burger had hair on it. I brought this to their attention and they remade my food but by the time they did the rest of my group had finished eating and had to wait. I was surprised I was not comped the meal or given a coupon or something. They did offer to find out who’s hair it was.

Better than Red Robin for half the price and without all the noise and other goofy stuff. Also better than Five Guys. Good burgers and I love the garlic french fries. Booya!

This was the worst dining experience. Restaurant was busy. Our food was raw, the onion rings were soggy and overpriced. No excuses. So many other hamburger choices in Fort Collins.

I’d be more inclined to rate it 3 and a half stars if I could. Tastes about as good as Red Robin, but without the screaming children and long wait. Place was clean and friendly, good burger. I’ve never had a burger as good as In n Out in California though.

This is our favorite burger spot! The food is great and the service is outstanding. Even when they are busy you can count on service with a smile. When our orders have been too large to carry they have helped me carrying to go orders to the car. Highly recommend.

Awesome food! They gave my sister a free malt for her birthday! Go here on your birthday! And like whenever you want a good burger. Jacqui was awesome.

Tried it several times and always tastes like the top fell off the seasoning salt.

This place was nice and friendly. I got a bacon cheese burger… As I sat at the monstrously large table, I stared off into the parking lot and noticed the menus on the glass… Why do they show such amazing and long pieces of bacon in the pics but when you actually get it they’re like an inch long each… This saddened me. I sat there and contemplated my bacon. The sky was grey and it started to rain… a clear indication that it felt my pain… the burger was juicy and delicious… the bacon was short and gone in a couple bites… Smash Burger.

This was my first visit to a Smashburger while recently on vacation. In sum, it was all good. Not necessarily the best I’ve had, but a solid choice for a good fast meal. Good quality, fresh, lots of variety on the menu for all tastes. The rosemary and garlic fries were interesting too – in a good way.

Smashburger is, in my opinion, the freshest, best burger you can get in Fort Collins and the employees are always spot on! Kudos

Stopped by and ordered the jalapeño baja burger. It was ok… Nothing spectacular. Fries were pretty good but a bit over done. The restaurant itself is clean but incredibly small so we had to wait for someone to leave before we could sit which is not something you’d expect at a burger joint.

It took us a long time to try this place, but I’m thrilled we did. It’s more expensive than fast food($ 6-$ 8/burger), but they are delicious and a good portion size. We also tried the rosemary garlic shoestring fries, which I loved but my boyfriend would’ve preferred a bit less garlic. The regular fries are tasty, too. Haven’t tried the shakes yet, but would like to.

Excellent customer service. There were a few slight things wrong with my order, and they went above and beyond to see that I was satisfied! We will definitely be returning. Amazing food, I had the avocado club smash burger, and my husband had the Buffalo Bleu cheese… both were delicious.

Back working in town, I decided to give this place another chance after a 5-year hiatus. I wish I would have left it alone entirely. Late lunch rush left the restaurant needing a complete pick-me-up. Menus all over the counter, drinks station a mess, and tables didn’t look to have been wiped down at all today. My $ 6 burger was better than what I remembered, but I had pretty low expectations coming back. Juicy, just the right amount of cheese, but absolutely dripping with grease. The $ 2 shoestring fries were a complete joke — cold, stale, nowhere near worth what was paid. Bound for the trash. Attempted to wash my hands of all the residual burger grease, but the men’s restroom was out of soap. Thinking they should install a power washer for both hand washing and cleaning that nasty bathroom. Two and Q, I’m done.

Gross food. The buns are super greasy. The milkshakes don’t taste that well either. Would go to McDonald’s if I wanted better burgers.

Average… same as the rest of the Smash Burgers. Which, when you think about it is a good thing. The consistency is a plus, the food is good and the service is average.

If I am going to spend 50.00 for 4 people YOU bet I AM going TOSTUFT. WITH that being said I came in today while on this side of collins and decided a fast casual would be cheaper than Red Robin. Shouldve went with ny gut. My burger was pink when I asked for medium well and my bun was so disgustingly wet.

I must admit that I don’t really get Smashburger’s central premise — I mean, why smash the burger? What did it do to deserve that? Despite my confusion about this dubious selling point, I suppose Smashburger ranks as my preferred burger joint on the south side of town. The times I’ve been here it has been clean and service has been fast. The burgers are not bad, but personally I find the poor, smashed burger patty to be too thin which throws off the burger-to-bun ratio. Other burger components are of good quality, though(I most recently had the avocado club burger), and the selection of sides can’t be beat … the sweet potato fries are my fave. Pricing is about average for a fast-casual meal — expect to pay about $ 10 for a regular-sized burger, a side, and a fountain drink.

In the continuation of my quest for burger places, I’ve finally made it here. I ordered the regular burger(although I really wanted a fancy one, I’m rating based on comparing normal burgers everywhere). Price was comperable to other similar businesses, although they do have coupons online so check them out before coming in — I got one for a free side! I ordered the small size, it was still quite large, and the sweet potato fries with olive oil and parmesan. The fries were good, although we sat outside and they cooled off quickly! The burger was also good — not too thick, not too thin, the bun(whole wheat) was toothy and added flavor. But overall it felt a bit lacking too — not exciting, not a real meaty taste. So overall I give it a solid 3 stars. Next time, I’m aiming for some mushroom cheese thing with a milkshake!
