Walgreens

Consistently one of the slowest pharmacies I’ve ever been too. I was told my prescription would be ready in 20 minutes. It’s been 40 and still isn’t done! This is the fifth time I’ve had a prescription filled and it always takes way longer than expected. I won’t be back a sixth time!

I would like to be clear that my experiences here are solely with the pharmacy and I will also be contacting Walgreens with my experiences.
This store, by far, has the longest wait times. Several customers in line were complaining of this fact when a pharm tech cashier overheard them. The customers were loudly chastised by the employee, in a rude fashion, and told they «use all the registers they have» (so not true).
Now onto the serious problems…
In the past year one many occasions I have been wrongly notified of «ready» prescriptions that were not.
I have not once been correctly notified when a prescription is ready.
I have arrived to pick up these «ready» scripts only to be told they’d never received a script from the doc.

I have been given wrong medication quantities. (This is costing you money, Walgreens)
Good luck trying to call this pharmacy. They pick up the ringing phone and hang it up. A lot.
I have been given «partial» prescriptions because they frequently run out of medications. In returning for the rest of my script I was told they have no idea what I’m talking about and my scripts were already filled.
I know what you’re thinking… that I’m «the crazy drug addict lady trying to score narcs». Well, you’d be wrong! All these «mix-​ups» were for diabetes medications!
Today I was told to «Go to Walmart» to get my insulin because I could not afford theirs. How do they know how much money I have? Okay, I’m going to Walmart.

The inside of this Walgreens is huge! It’s nicely stocked and the staff is friendly. Good location & will definitely return.

Formerly housed here was Long’s Drug and the merging is nice because this Walgreens is a lot bigger than most and therefore there is more room for merchandise!
