My favourite store in the world!!! I don’t get to the states very often but I was there a couple weeks ago and the prices are Amazon and the stuff is good quality! My favourite parts are the frames, signs and scrapbooking stuff! The staff is friendly and I can’t wait to go back to a Hobby Lobby! Almost, Hobby Lobby is better than any Michael’s stores in canada! So much more to choose from!

I only go here in a pinch. Such as when you run out of milk and could run to a corner store to get more. Not super helpful staff, not many quality products… super cheap, super China. Not many brand name, good quality products. The store reminds me of all the mom and pops that are dead. It’s worth it to head toward the city for your shopping needs. I love Utrecht for any art supplies.

Well, I tried to go here but forgot it was Sunday and they were closed. Darn. I totally respect their right to be closed but it is disappointing when you are only in town for a half a day and the store you wanted to stop in is closed.

Holy lobby not open on Sunday, unfortunately that’s the day I’d like to do my hobbies. Other than that this place kinda rocks. Cheap art supplies, way better than more pretentious expensive art stores. I kinda prefer my art supplies impersonal; get in, get out, get on with the art. So its cool, but its definitely not a mom and pop art store, no siree they’ll actually have what you’re looking for…

If you are one of those creative types that loves to do any type of craft, then Hobby Lobby is the place for you. Whether it’s scrapbooking, cake decorating, painting, framing photography, flower arranging, Hobby Lobby has it all and more. As far as Port Huron is concerned, they have the area’s largest selection of scrapbooking stickers, paper, adhesives, embellishments, stamps, etc. HL also has a large selection of home décor, including picture frames, candles, artwork, vases, etc. Every other week they have a coupon for 40% off one regular priced item which can be found in the newspaper or via e-mail. The only complaint I have is that they never seem to have enough cashiers open and there are always huge lines to checkout. Also a pain is that the poor cashiers have to look up each sale item in the weekly flier and type in the discount by hand(which takes an extra few minutes per person). Overall I LOVE Hobby Lobby!
