Avoid this place if at all possible. The guy does not wear gloves and has dirt under his fingernails. Also, none of the produce was fresh, he put a rotten strawberry in the salad. Not really a good excuse for that when your stand is in a grocery store parking lot.

The gyro is not freshly layered meat on a rotisserie. It is a chunk of meat pre made and set on a flat top to re cook. The salad is made fresh but not with fresh produce. The hummus is good but don’t get the chips there from a bag and real hard. It is close to housing.

Living in the middle east for 3 years I was not really impressed by the Gyro/Donor. It was extremely salty. I am glad that was all I bought. Rather get a sandwich inside the commissary for less money.

Not what I would have expected from a food stand. Unbelievably good. We had walked past it several times on trips to the Commissary, but eventually couldn’t resist the smell. Actual Greek guy in there running it, who is very nice and accommodating(onions cooked instead of raw for me). Best lamb gyro I have ever had, and I’m a 50 year old 100% Service Connected disabled combat infantry vet. I’ve been around a bit. But you have to try it for yourself and be your own judge!
