About Face

I went to About Face (Diane), after doing some research about permanent makeup and skilled professional people in the fort lauderdale/​south florida area. I’m grateful I did. She works out of an MD’s office, but she has another office and practice in Miami with a renown dermatologist as well, so clearly there is even professional respect for her in the medical field. (Always a good sign!) I booked a consultation and within moments I knew I made the right decision and that I would have the procedure done by her. I had permanent eyeliner done by her. The consultation was about my expectations, what she thought would be best, and a great intersection of both is what I chose. She sketched on me and showed me what the result would mostly likely look like. (I say «most likely,» but she was very clear and she was 100% right.) First, I didn’t feel any pain, it mostly tickled if anything. (She uses numbing agents.) Second, it is obvious she is one of the best at what she does, as the results were what we discussed and she puts you at ease. I had this idea of having my eyes done darker and thicker, but she was pretty conservative and I’m glad. (That’s what you want– I have seen pictures posted on other’s sites where the women look like clowns. Very sad…) When I went for my touch up appointment (which is included), we added just enough more. But that’s not all, Diane is also a very sweet, very personable, down-​to-​earth person. A rare find in any industry, let alone the cosmetic/​beauty field. If you are considering permanent makeup, don’t look anywhere else, please go to About Face.
