Been in the place a number of times. Not a bad spot for a strong drink. Always smokey, but I expect it. Yvette is cool… this place gets more colorful as the night goes on…

How can you not love this place? It’s like the Fort Lauderdale version of cheers from Boston because everyone knows your name! The owner and bartenders actually care who you are and where you’re from. The drinks are a reasonable price and the pool plus free darts! They’re good people and will treat you like family!!!

I have to agree with fellow Unilocaler, Nina. Skip it!
Archie’s is a sports bar; it’s small but has the usual flat screens, sports watching promotionals, dart board and pool table. It’s a hole in the wall but neat, clean, orderly and rather well run. However it just doesn’t seem to be a fun place, more of a quiet somber dinking joint. I’ve been here on several occasions and maybe I’m missing something but I don’t think so. If you’re looking for a fun sports bar, there are plenty of other ones nearby with a seemingly more gregarious joyful atmosphere about them and having bartenders with better humor, less attitude.

Disgusting place. Been here like 5x over the past 10 years. (Tried to give it a second chance.) I like dives, but this place is a dump. A lot of better places within a short walking distance. One of the bartenders threw out my friend due to his race. I will never go back.

TVs, a pool table, friendly & skilled bartenders, and $ 3 ice cold budweisers — nothing fancy, your basic local bar. While this wasn’t my usual type of place to go on vacation, the friendly Floridians and cheap drinks made this place a pretty enjoyable spot for a couple of drinks and casual hanging out.
