Originally thought it was best auto parts store I have ever visited. Went there to buy spark plugs and borrow the right tool, so I could do it myself. Bobby, the GM at this location, was very helpful. He lent me the tools, gave me a quick demo with the gap gauge and was hilarious and respectful about my attempts to be self-sufficient. I worked on my car in the parking lot and one of the plugs wouldn’t loosen with the wrench. He came out and asked what I was doing, took a quick look at the plug and got some pliers. The connector in my spark plug wire had broken off and was sticking to the spark plug, making it impossible for the tool to fit properly. So I had to buy new wires too. They were out at this location and the nearest one with the right part was 15 miles away. I said I would walk to another auto parts store a ¼ mile down the road, but they insisted on having the wires delivered. The lady who retrieved them(I didn’t get her name) was also really nice and hilarious. Both of them left me to do the work myself, but were super supportive and helpful when I asked. It felt like I had made friends by the end of the experience. Unfortunately the spark plug wire set they sold me was not the right one for my car and the main wire slipped off a few days later, stopping my car in the middle of the road. I ended up paying for a tow truck to haul it to the tune of $ 60. The mechanic tied the wire to the engine with a zip tie and told me to replace them immediately. When I brought it back to the store, Bobby laughed at me and said he would give me a refund but I would have to give him back the wire set, which would be awfully hard to do without another one to take its place. I shopped three stores in the area but nobody carried the right set. They weren’t terribly expensive, but it was a frustrating end to what felt like a great service story. I definitely would never go back.
