Small place alot of tables tho. First had Shrimp Dumplings(4) @ 6.95. They were good but pricey. Ordered off the lunch menu. No hot tea was offered. Or crunchy noodle on table. Or Duck Sauce or the mustard. I then had the combo Cashew Chicken. It came w/a veggie that I did not recognize The smallest Cashew nuts I’ve ever had. Rice white or veggie. I asked what it was I was told it was like water chestnuts, asked the name still never got it. They were large sliced thin, she did google it & showed me a pic but still no name. I don’t know if I go back no egg-roll veggie fried rice for these prices you should get a Eggroll at least. And porkbfried rice. Their the same people that own Jasmine rice in LBS . Second time 2÷23÷16 food is good but it’s missing something. The miso soup which came w/my Lobster Cantonese lunch special $ 12.95 all Bland. The crunchy noodles as said above different. SERVICEVERYGOOD. I came here for the Sui Mei pork and shrimp very very good. Tasted great and large that’s why they charge slot for it $ 6.95 but worth it. My only suggestion is more flavor, cause your portion are nice.

Atmosphere was very pleasant. Lettuce wrap appetizer had chicken and vegetables with a wonderful flavor. Sweet and sour chicken was delicious as was General Tso’s chicken. The unexpected egg roll had an unusual flavor, not good. The fried rice was dry and lacked flavor. Overall a good experience, I would definitely go back.

I read some off reviews but I guess they were working the kinks out. This location was previously a Chinese restaurant, whether under same ownership I’m not sure. It was so so back then. The place is now a legitimate revamped Asian Bistro with nice décor, adequate seating and just a nice new clean look. I did not try sushi yet but I was wowed with a $ 7 lunch special. It was chicken Szechuan and it was far above average. The chicken seemed to be actual sliced chicken breast not the usual hammered out thigh meat or worse. The taste was even distinctive for such a common dish I could certainly pick this out of a line up and this is good. The veggie fried rice although seemingly a common side was again surprising different and very very fresh. I’m proud of what they did if it is the same owner this new chic Asian Bistro is much better. I can’t wait to comeback and try more as the lunch menu was loaded with options, bento boxes, sushi, sashimi, and other Chinese fare! Great job, Keep it up.

Avoid this place like the plague. The staff was rude. The hot and sour soup looked like oil with broth and bits of bamboo in it. The edamame was dried out and looked old. As the waitress brought out our sushi — she spilled the ponzu sauce all over the floor and didn’t seem to care aka didn’t clean it. Even my water tasted off. How this place is still in business — I don’t even know!

My partner and I were in the mood for Chinese, so we stopped in for lunch this past Saturday. We were a bit dubious as we were the only customers at that time, but gave it a go anyway. My partner ordered the tempura udon soup; I ordered the small hot and sour soup to start and the ma po tofu as my main. Our waitress did not seem to be very knowledgeable of the menu as she took a number of minutes to copy everything down from the menu — a novella would not have taken so long! We waited. We waited. We waited. Keep in mind, we were the only customers. We waited. Finally, our food came out. Well, at least the udon soup and tofu dish. I mentioned I had ordered hot and sour soup. I was told that I had not(despite watching it being written down slooooowly on the order pad). They said it would only take a few minutes and they would take the tofu back to the warmer. I asked for it to remain since I did not know how long their«few minutes» would be. My partner started with his udon soup. He said it was fine, if not on the bland side. He was taken back a bit with the two tempura shrimp skewers. What was supposed to be tempura batter looked more like Extra Crispy KFC. It was not light and nothing like tempura should be. He also could only eat a few bites, stating it was nasty. My tofu dish was actually quite tasty. I’d never had that particular dish before, so I’m not sure if the flavor profile was correct… but I did enjoy it. About halfway through, my hot and sour soup arrived — I was willing to wait because I love hot and sour soup. The soup was quite tasty, but the texture was gross. The soup should be thick, but not in a gelatinous way… it was akin to partially set jello. The décor was pleasant, and it was super clean… so kudos for that. A big negative are the prices… nearly everything was way more than you’d pay at a comparable, or better, restaurant. Most Chinese entrees were $ 15+++, and the sushi was overpriced. There’s just too many other places that are better and cheaper.

First off, came in and they took forever to give us a menu and came by to ask if we were ready to order… What the hell??? Then when ordering, the waitress didn’t understand«volcano roll» and had to have us show her on the menu, when we explained it to her she wasn’t understanding and asked if we spoke Chinese to maybe explain it more clearly for her. She asked because we were Asian… No, we are not Chinese so we don’t speak Chinese. We ordered in English like anyone else would. Feel extremely discriminated. For sure not coming back. Terrible feeling from the staff. Even if the food is good, service goes a long way. #terrible #awful #notcool

Excellent Asian food. You have a lot to choose from, Japanese, Chinese, and Thai. To start we had egg roll and vegetable spring roll, both were really good and big as to share specially if you are going to order other things. My husband had a miso soup which he said was excellent. I ordered a sweet potato roll because I wanted to try some sushi roll and I loved it. As entrees we had a House fried rice which was awesome because it wasn’t greasy at all. And the Dynasty Duck that was really exotic. They have wines, sake and Asian and domestic beers too. The place itself is really cozy and clean. The cleanliness called our attention. And the staff was really kind and attentive… definitely will come back to try more sushi another day!

Fresh. Tasty food. Quality dishes. I had the General Tos chicken, it was all good quality But the sauce had not much flavor. But the quality is all there. Clean restaurant.

I had a yearning for Asian food this afternoon and would like to say that I was just too lazy to prepare it myself but the fact is I have admit I’m just not any good at Asian preparations. Possibly my Swedish heritage is responsible for the drawback, or the fact that I can’t read any of the labels where I shop my Asian foods. So, I gave the newly opened Bamboo Asian Bistro a try and was glad that I did. I ordered their Szechuan Two Treasure with scallops and shrimp that came with a bowl of wonton. The Szechuan Two Treasure, $ 17.95, came in a good portion size, was really very tasty, had plenty of decent sized shrimp mixed in but was somewhat skimpy on the scallops which were also rather small in size, however, I thought decent enough for the price and found the Wonton to be particularly good. I did have a little problem with the service when I asked my waitress about their Seafood Urdon with Kimchee sauce. It may have been the consequence of a language barrier, but try as I might, I couldn’t get her to tell me exactly what seafood was contained in the dish, which is why I didn’t order it. Other than that the services was fine except for after paying for my meal, the change made on a dollar was given to me mostly in pennies which I don’t like leaving for tips and even more having to walk around with in my pockets. The décor of the place isn’t much to speak of, but clean in appearance along with ample enough well-spaced tables. Though somewhat on the pricey side for their good meals, I thought reasonable enough, a little more than most comparable places, but with the food preparation, flavor and taste superior. Matter of fact good enough that I wouldn’t hesitate to return and I’m going Four Stars based upon the fact that, though nothing to really write home about, better than most in the area.

I’m surprised by the how bland the food was. The house special lo mein was drier than i like my noodles to be and at $ 15 there was a severe lack of protein. $ 15 for take out noodles and you’re shorting me on the meat? I’m annoyed. I don’t expect much from wonton soup or eggrolls, but i did enjoy the texture of the eggroll, not dripping in grease and not too big. I hate giant greasy eggrolls, it’s not a burrito for godsake, reel it in. The beef mushroom stir-fry was bland, but a generous helping of sirachia and soy sauce did help jazz it up significantly. I will say, they did make up for the meatless lo mein with this stir-fry. I got a lot more beef out of the deal with this dish. The eggrolls, soup, stir fry and lo mein cost $ 40, which is a bit steep for bland takeout. Will i give them another try? Maybe. Just not anytime soon. I need to lick my wounds and try a few other places before I circle back around to check them out again. The quality of the food isn’t bad, the flavors just aren’t there. The prices are definitely not worth it, especially to not be blown away. I’ve had some really yummy food, from some off the beaten paths places that I’ve thoroughly enjoyed, for a lot less coin.

Yeah for strip malls that have treasures of tasty delights!!! And double whoopee for those that are within walking distance literally just around the corner. I didn’t know what to expect from the signage(outside) but it appeared to be just another cheap greasy spoon serving up fried rice of some sort, but on closer inspection it mentioned that it served Thai, Japanese sushi, and Chinese. As a Latin I can tell you to usually steer clear of places that say Mexican and Cuban or Cuban and Spanish — to me the cuisines are so distinct I don’t understand how they can be cooked successfully under the same roof; I have to wonder if the same isn’t undoubtedly true for the many cultures of the East. But I had that hankering for sushi and since I’m still a bit of a novice about the whole sushi thing outside of a California roll or Spider roll I figure how bad can anyone screw up rice, fish and cream cheese? Upon entering a very clean and pretty establishment, that probably seats 20 tops, I wondered if this was some sort of chain; in the manner of Irish pubs(you know the type, all mahogany, rugby t-shirts and other assorted memorabilia to make you feel you’re in Dublin, yadda yadda). This one seems like it could have been in a strip mall anywhere — fake bamboo mixed with real bamboo, a few faux oriental screens to hide the restroom entrance, tasteful displays of flowers and a nice painting of a friendly chubby panda — and as mentioned before, quite clean. But I also couldn’t help but notice the steady flux of customers, mostly coming in for take out, so this place, albeit pretty new, couldn’t be too bad. And since one eats first with their eyes I naturally over ordered, but I wasn’t put off by my own foolishness, I knew whatever came home was dinner. Their take on crab Rangoon — mmm, take it or leave it. Their egg drop soup and egg roll sides — fresh and delicious — worth the price of admission. My spider roll — fresh, crunchy, crispy, one of those rare sushi rolls you get where you’re not even sure if you want to add the ginger-wasabi-soy sauce combo because it’s just so tasty on its own you want to indulge in the sea-brimeyness of the fish nestled in the rice with that crunchy asparagus spear and silky strip of nori holding it all together. Can seaweed be al dente? Theirs seemed to be. The standard lunch special of honey chicken with veggie brown fried rice went home for dinner and it didn’t fail as a late midnight snack where all the flavors have magically come together to quench a craving brought on by a shameless indulgence in vodka… so glad their basically next door I can’t wait to go back!

This pan Asian delight is a family owned restaurant with a cross over of various Asian cuisines, primarily, Chinese, Thai, and Japanese. One is instantly welcomed upon entering by the friendly staff. The location itself is off of Federal Hwy in an older looking strip mall plaza. Parking is adequate but not extremely plentiful for all the stores there. The sushi is super fresh(very important) and made to order. The Chinese dishes are delicious and Coke with a side of rice. Definitely will stop in again when I am in the area!

So happy this place is in the neighborhood. Myself and coworkers probably order from this place 3 times a week and its always the freshest. I usually order the spicy tuna roll which is not really spicy but has a great flavor. I am also a huge fan of the JB tempura roll which is like eating adult candy. The miso soup is great for hangovers. The staff is friendly and helpful with anything. The place is cute and clean. It’s a great place for an intimate date or a lunch date with coworkers. You will not be disappointed.

I have tried to find a MA style Chinese/sushi place that deserved this rating for a long time. They are friendly, clean and the food is great. The pan fried dumplings are awesome! Worth trying!

I stopped in to take a look at the menu just because I saw a potential new spot to eat and I love me some Asian food. After taking a look at the menu I decided that since I’m here I might as well have a snack. Menu was full of good sounding stuff. Tons of Sushi and Japanese items, a Chinese section, and a couple of other odds and ends. Well rounded. So I figured before stepping up to the pricey items I’d check the basics. Har Gow(Shrimp Dumpling) Steamed of course, Pork Dumplings fried, and a JB Roll. I know, I know, how adventuress. The sushi came out first and was very well plated for a simple roll. I thought some of the items seemed a little higher priced on the menu, for a place like this, but the portions are very big and everything was a great bang for the buck. The JB roll was fresh, big, and tasty. A great benchmark roll. The pork dumpling were good, again big. The show stopper was the Har Gow, those little tasty shrimp bastards were amazing. Just got back from Manhattan and they were just as good as any in china town. Juicy, full of perfectly cooked shrimp, and didn’t even need dipping sauce. I could have eaten 50. You could tell they actually make their own. I’m sure there are more tasty treats on their menu and will be back to try them all. Also the staff was very nice and I was welcomed with a smile by every employee. Got to chatting with Crystal the lady up front and she was a pleasure. Even was asked if I could give her my opinion on some sake and gave me a free tasting. Nice touch ;). That’s how you earn customers. You got me.
