I could not believe what I saw when I walked into Carls. The place loked like a store that is going out of business. Carls used to be considered top notch but now it seems like they are using the name to sell lower quality furniture. I still for some reason chose to purchase a sofa after my horrible first impression. This was a BIGMISTAKE!!! After 4 months, I still have not received my merchandise which I paid for. I went back to get a refund and they were only willing to give a store credit. What kind of scam is this store running? Do yourself a favor and shop at a place that will not go out of business while you are still waiting on your delivery.

If I could give this store 0 stars, I would. The way they run business is simply unacceptable. DONOTBUYFROMTHISSTORE. Make sure you listen when you buy there. After spending over 10K in the store furnishing my house, I tried to return 2 items that simply were too big for my bedroom. We haven’t unpacked them and haven’t even unloaded from the delivery truck. Furniture went back straight to their warehouse. No hassle. When I asked for a refund for just two pieces out of 15 that I bought, I was told that I could only get store credit. I wasn’t aware of that at all. They have no customer service skills there. Manager was not helpful at all. We tried to contact the owner of the store, but still didn’t get any answer. If you could, save yourself some money and time and shop somewhere else.

Very pleased with the sales person, Mary Ann. The sofa and love seat arrived as promised 5 days after purchase. The delivery people did a very good job. We are very happy with the purchase.

I enjoyed working with the sales person and designer at Carls, but I’m very disappointed in the follow-through. After an estimate of 10 – 12 weeks for delivery of a sofa and ottomans, it will be 19 weeks on Tuesday, with no more word than«They’re on the next truck.» I know it’s not Carls’ fault, but it seems like they could put more pressure on the company that makes the sofa and ottomans, rather than take a «we’ve got your money, you’re on your own» attitude. I’ll think twice before doing business with Carls in the future.
