I’ve finally had a chance to eat at the Clovermint. My sister, my mom, my friends have all raved about this place. I must say with good reason. I was blown away with how good the food was and how good I felt after eating it. I don’t know if it’s just mental or what but there’s something to say about noshing out on vegan food and not having a food coma or feeling bloated and stuffed after. I was full but I felt energized by it. I confess I am not a vegan. I am a food lover(good food). I didn’t feel like I was missing out on anything here. Here’s what I’ve tried, the avacado fries, baked ziti and chocolate cake. Every bite was delicious. The staff is very proud of their establishment and should be. They take the time to go over the menu and answer any questions. It was a busy Sunday around noontime. Every table was taken, but the wait was not long. They invite you to sit at the bar and have a coffee or tea while you wait. I can easily see the place having a following and a line out the door real soon. I can’t wait to go back!

One time I took my mom to a restaurant where she had«the worst fish and chips of [her] life.» So, I felt vindicated for taking her to Clovermint when saw said it was«the best vegetarian meal [she’d] ever had.» Whew! Everything about this place is a 10… Incredible food, clean, great service, beautiful décor, nice music, liberal politics, and they don’t serve unsolicited straws(my dining environmental pet peeve!) Only suggestion would be to switch to biodegradable takeout boxes. Wonderful place and I’ll be back next time I’m in town!

Just went for the first time the other day and thought it was great. So hard to choose but I went w a side(scoop) of the sunflower tuna, side kale, and a half order of the tofu scramble(which ended up being my fave– so much flavor). This will definitely be my preferred place for vegan food. I thought he prices were very reasonable and the food was creative and unique. An excellent addition to the almost nonexistent vegan/vegetarian options in southeast Broward. Can’t wait to go back!

Clovermint is a delight for vegans and non-vegans alike. We shared the mac n’ cheese(nice and garlicky) and I got the buffalo cauliflower sandwich and my boyfriend got the bbq tempeh(that aioli is on point). Can’t wait to come back to try the brunch menu soon! Highly recommend this place.

My husband and I decided to go out for a quick and healthy lunch. I use App Happy Cow, and the app showed this place as «open» and«vegan» — our 2 main requirements. We ordered the tempeh bbq sandwich and the Tamarind Pad Thai. The food was great. I thought I won’t eat the whole bowl, but man, it was so delicious, and I ate it all! We both enjoyed the nice atmosphere of the place and loved served dishes. Definitely, we are coming back to try other appetizing goodies they have. The server was super nice and made as feel welcomed and really happy.

Why such the noise Unilocalers??? It’s not even a market, just a café, so false advertising off the bat. When I asked how long they had been open it was something like 8 months. I own a local business up the street and I don’t think it takes like 8 months to find a food distribution company and put some product in there. Ok that being said the food was awful. Got what everyone said to be the«best«or «most popular» dishes. First up: Avocado with some tasteless texture less covering . Bland On to the Mac and cheese. Oh wait wasn’t in the order to go order. Ok baked ziti. Around 12 bucks for a hand sized potion in tin foil. Cheese was warm and fresh but far from flavorful. No herbs, no flavor. Dessert was forgettable, chocolate cake with raspberry. Split it with a few people. No one came back for 2nd round … Disappointed to say the least in clover field. I’m sure they can turn it around, as there are no decent vegan spots in the vicinity.

Excellent vegan restaurant. It does not look like much from the outside, but inside it is very welcoming and has a pleasant décor. It is small, but comfortable. It has only been open for about 8 months, but I’m sure they will be around for a while. They have a creative menu, and the quality of their food is very high. Service is also friendly and fast. They also have a nice vegan dessert selection, and a good variety of coffees and teas.

So excited to have a vegetarian restaurant so close to home! We stopped in for lunch on the way to dropping my friend off at the the airport. It’s super close if you need to kill some time before flying out, or need to grab a late dinner after arrival at FLL. We ordered the mac & cheese, tofu scramble, caesar salad and wilted kale, with iced green tea. Wish I had been in the mood for breakfast because they serve brunch all day on Saturday and Sunday. First of all, everything was yummy and satisfied that comfort food craving. Second, the portions were pretty substantial, so I’ll be enjoying my mac & cheese leftovers for lunch today… YAY! I also want to mention that this is a really comfortable place to hang out. Very relaxed and cute… not at all what you might expect from the«strip mall on East Griffin Rd.» exterior. I’m also excited that they’ve expanded their hours(Wed-Sun) so I can pick up an order on my way home from work. Can’t wait for our next visit!

If I could give this place a million stars, I would!!! I have MS and I have switched to a mostly raw and vegan diet. I travel the state of Florida for business and I love finding vegan/raw restaurants to try. This one is by far the best one yet!!! Everything was amazing. I got the pad Thai and the toasted coconut and almond avocado fries. Both were amazing!!!

Cool place. Nice service by the girl with the glasses. I like the setup of the place & their bathroom. They were playing Built to Spill over their speaker which is rare & was really cool to hear. Their bbq cauliflower with a side salad is good in concept but it could use a revamp to be truly amazing. Their Mac and cheese was the best thing I tried. I drove from Miami and I’m happy I checked it out though it wasn’t too out of this world to have me rushing back anytime soon. Good luck to them

So far I have tried the baked ziti, avocado fries and the tempeh bbq sandwich, I can’t express enough how delicious everything is here! My goal is to have everything on the menu! A gem Update* So, I tried the«seed» tuna sandwich and I have to say It was just as amazing as all the other food I’ve tried at Clovermint, never disappointing, I wish I could move in and stay forever! This item is a must try.

Ohhhh my Goddddd If there was a vegan heaven it would be here. My fiancé found out about this place through Unilocal and I’m so glad she did. We started with the coconut/almond avocado fries. Then she moved onto the pad thai noodles which are more like a small side salad so she ordered the mac and cheese. The bread crumbs on top were such a great contrast to the gooey smooth«cheese» and we both were literally in disbelief it was vegan. I had the baked ziti and it came with melted baked cheese over the top… The best part was that the cheese to pasta and sauce ratio was well balanced. There’s nothing worse than an unbalanced pasta/sauce situation: p anyway it came with a salad that already had its leaves coated with a mild fresh dressing. But I can’t stress enough the absolutely UNBELIEVABLE taste of every single plate!!! We ended this wonderful culinary adventure with the sundae dessert — again five stars and our server was excellent! Walking into this place gives a peaceful tranquil and inviting energy… I can’t wait to come back!!!

I am not vegan, but I try to only eat sustainably-sourced, humanely raised meat, which limits those options dining out. In addition, I’m gluten free and don’t eat refined sugar. On a vacation, discovering a place like Clovermint was a dream. We ordered the broccoli cheddar soup, which has a nutritional yeast and cashew base. I found it oddly spicy, which later made sense since it seemed to mirror their buffalo sauce that was drizzled on another dish. I also didn’t feel they excelled at creating a «cheesy» base, and I am a fan of nutritional yeast. We also had the french toast, which was enjoyable. The sunflower seed«tuna» was as expected, though the avocado toast it came on had such sparse amounts of avocado we couldn’t taste it, and the toast was more like bruschetta in terms of hardness. Finally, we had the deluxe chocolate cake, which was simply bad. Dry as a bone. My companion wondered if it was just old; I said no, that they just don’t know how to make vegan baked goods there. Perhaps it was an off day. Everyone was very pleasant, the ambiance was nice, and despite it being a mediocre meal, I was glad for it on a vacation, which is why it gets three stars instead of two.

Review for ¾/16– Came her for lunch on a Friday not knowing that they are closed Mon-Thurs…talk about lucky! They are currently only doing a soft opening so make sure you check before going if they are open. Walking into this restaurant you were transported back into a different time/era. I loved the décor and how cute it was setup. On to the order, there were so many options to choose from that it was hard to pick but we decided to go with the Avocado fries for app and I ordered the Buffalo Cauliflower dish and my friend ordered the Baked Ziti. This was the best tasting vegan/gluten free meal I’ve had. The cauliflower had so much flavor that I forgot I was eating a vegetable. I tasted my friend’s Baked Ziti and you could not tell that it was meatless and oh the cheese even tasted like cheese! But what I loved the most was the dessert! We had the Apple strudel. I told my friend that they lied to us… there is no way that the dessert was vegan. It was warm and gooey with cinnamon and a cashew sauce drizzeled on top… so good! All i have to say is… go ahead… check them out! You wont regret it ;-)

¾/16– You do not have to be vegan to enjoy Clovermint Café & Market. I do however, enjoy eating a healthy meal. You may also think Vegan means tasteless, well NOT here. This is the tastiest vegan food I’ve had so far. Keep in mind that they are still going through their soft opening and their hours may vary. Luckily, we came here on Friday and they were open. The space has an eclectic style vibe of antique furnishings, Moroccan style and modern vintage pieces. It is very clean with white walls. On the walls, there are many antique looking pictures. The furniture was refined, a patterned sofa and wine-color velvet chairs around the restaurant. There were also some burnished bronze furniture pieces to tie it all up. What I liked the most were the bunny salt & pepper shakers on the table.(As a woman, I can appreciate a good bathroom, You have to see this bathroom, they thought about everything) With that said, I must add that our service is BLAH! The server did not introduce himself and I felt like he thought we had been to the café before and knew what we wanted. He just didn’t seem excited. He brought us waters and took a very long time to come back. Once we looked through their one page menu, we knew what we wanted to order the AVOCADOFRIES, Coconut and almond encrusted avocado slices pan fried golden in coconut oil and served with garlic aioli dipping sauce. We also ordered the BUFFALOCAULIFLOWERPLATTER, House made creamy buffalo sauce tossed over cauliflower florets. Served with avocado toast points and veggies and Caesar dressing and the BAKEDZITI, Brown rice ziti tossed in our homemade ricotta and baked with our family recipe marinara sauce. They take longer than your usual place since they are making everything fresh. The Avocado Fries came out and they were warm and so flavorful. They were not as encrusted as I’ve seen in other pictures but every order is different. The Buffalo Cauliflower was to die for, and I am NOT a fan of buffalo/wing sauce. It had the perfect kick! Absolutely addicting and filling. It comes with a side of the most colorful veggies we’ve ever seen! My Baked Ziti came with a side of mixed greens and orange basil dressing, it was light and fresh. In the words of Savanna M. «Best BAKEDZITI». The homemade ricotta was delicious but that marinara sauce was just sweet enough. So far, so delicious, that we had to order dessert. APPLESTREUSEL, Cinnamon spiced apple pie filling baked in a buttery, gluten free, house made crust. Topped with crumble and cashew cream drizzle. This came out hot, flaky and that cashew cream drizzle… MMMM. I just have to say that the entire time we were there and took a bite we kept looking at each other like«This cannot be vegan, it is TOOGOOD!»

There’s always great gems to be found in strip malls in South Florida. You will usually find real deal eats in unassuming plazas. I’m not vegetarian(and certainly not vegan) and even I can appreciate this place! Came in for a lunch and they weren’t too busy. Here’s what I got: Coffee — they don’t use cream or sugar so I went with coconut milk and coconut sugar! I’ve never tried coconut sugar, and it was awesome. Raw Pad Thai — They make noodles out of veggies. A large serving. It was good. Buffalo cauliflower — came with carrots and celery, with a side of avocado toast. This is basically like having buffalo wings, except it’s cauliflower. Ok it’s very different, but the flavors were super on point! Really good. Avocado fries — with almond and coconut crust. These were my favorite. They come with a delicious dipping sauce. The staff was nice, the wait was a little long, but they apologized and said there was some problem with something in the kitchen. All good. Compared to other vegan places I found it to be reasonably priced… it’s going to be a little more expensive than your usual restaurant, but really that should be expected.

So, I’m definitely not a vegan by any means, but I do appreciate my veggies, and I appreciate any place with a 5 star rating that is 2 minutes driving from my home, so I knew I had to stop by Clovermint and check them out. I asked all my neighborhood friends if they wanted to meet up with me(so I could try more of the menu at once lol) but alas they were all busy, so I headed over by myself. This used to be a very dingy, sketchy Thai/Sushi spot that I had only ventured to once or twice out of pure necessity, so I was very pleased to see they had opened the whole space up, much brighter and much more welcoming! Since I was alone I opted to sit at the bar area and chat with the two servers on staff. Both of them were very welcoming and did a good job keeping me entertained. They do offer the brunch menu all day on Saturday and Sunday, along with the other menu, so I got to try a little bit of everything, and since I knew I wanted to try a lot of things, I got two items to go and ate them for dinner. For my dining in experience I tried the AVOCADOFRIES and the TOFUSCRAMBLE. The tofu scramble comes in half or whole sizes, and the half was more than enough to fill me up. Very tasty! The avocado fries were absolutely amazing, perfectly cooked and the vegan aioli dipping sauce was delicious! To go, I opted for the BUFFALOCAULIFLOWER and the BAKEDZITI. I wasn’t really sure what to expect with the cauliflower, but when I saw it came with veggies and dip on the side I realized this dish is perhaps the vegan version of wings. I ate it cold later(perhaps it should be warmed up?) and it was really good! The winner though — the baked ziti. Perhaps the best baked ziti of my entire life and I spent a good half hour afterwards googling almond milk ricotta cheese. Seriously it was phenomenal! I will tell you it came with a side salad with a great citrus dressing, but let’s focus on just how damn good that baked ziti was! OMG I was very impressed with my entire experience here. Everything from the ambiance to my to-go containers felt clean, fresh and inviting. I can’t wait for them to open other hours(hopefully weeknights) so I can get that baked ziti all the time, and of course I must try a few other items!

I cook raw, vegan and vegetarian. I ordered the avocado fries, sunflower seed tuna melt and the sweet potato. The issue was the coconut oil. Since I am not a fan of coconut, I knew that the avocado had coconut, but all the dishes had coconut oil in it which left me with a taste of coconut oil in my palate. My husband had the pancakes, because he and myself have a more savory palate and the menu was more aromatic. I was very disappointed that the restaurant does not offer unsweetened iced tea. My tuna melt was okay, but my salad had a flavoring that was too aromatic. The sweet potatoes also, had a flavoring(which I believe was the coconut oil) which I could not eat. I have a more savory and asian palate and style to my cooking, so this was just not the place for me.

Love this little spot! The staff is friendly, the ambience is quaint and cozy. Their brunch is everything a vegan could wish for. We had the French toast and the pancakes. One word: divine! The potatoes were delicious as well. It’s nestled into a strip mall but fairly easy to find. A hidden gem for sure! Give it a try even if you’re not vegan!

— Do try Clovermint Café! I’ve been to many vegan, raw, organic restaurants & so far to date I’m calling this one my favorite! Atmosphere: charming & sweet. Staff: Happy with adorable personalities! The young lady knew I was eyeballing each dish as it left the kitchen so she went with it and«showcased» each one as it passed me. Seating: perfectly comfortable. Plenty of table space for all of the dishes we had coming out to try. I really enjoyed the fresh flowers on our table!!! Food: I will share a pic of each dish. –hummus plated beautifully with the best & freshest sweet carrots for dipping, celery & gluten-free toast points –home fries: savory & delicious! There is some seasoning in here that brings back a memory & for the life of me I can’t place it! Sort of reminds me of cloves?! Perfectly fantastic! — salad: a rainbow of goodness! — sunflower mock tuna melt: My personal favorite which is funny because I didn’t plan to order it until I saw the picture someone posted on Unilocal(so thank you!) All of the flavors blend perfectly! — half order of tofu scramble: portion was really nice & hearty! The hubby doesn’t like mushrooms so they had no problem putting them on the side. Very accommodating. Spinach, tomatoes, onions… It truly tasted wonderful! — Sweet potato medallions: oh how I wish this order had just a few more pieces! It was sweet & reminded me of thanksgiving! So yummy!!! — Apple streusel: Nicest presentation! You can tell someone in the back of the house has a passion for food because they really poured their heart into this dish! My eyes and my taste buds appreciated it… My daughter ordered hot organic peppermint tea to warm up. She had a few refills of hot water and they made her feel very welcome and not like she was bugging them. Ok we will make this a regular dining spot for us. My husband is a goofball he said she should get coffee mugs or teacups to match the eclectic personally of Clovermint! The chalkboard sign was nice because as I kept glancing over… all my eyes kept seeing in their name was LOVE! Yes I love your restaurant! And avocado fries I left and had to share all of my food pics on FB to let everyone know there’s a new place in town and they need to try it! Can’t wait for the extended days/hours coming soon & the mini market!

This place is awesome! I was so excited about this place, I literally wanted to try everything on the menu, and practically did. Avocado fries were delicious! BBQ Tempeh sandwich, awesome! RAW sesame/tamarind Pad Thai, was tasty and refreshing. TOFU Scramble, French Toast and Cinnamon Apple Pancakes all were perfect. My kids said they liked the pancakes better here than at Choices, which says a lot because Choices is awesome too. This restaurant itself is not large, but not too small. They have a nice counter bar as well as some coolers for baked goods. They are only open Friday — Sunday currently, as they just opened, but I suspect as they get busier, they will open up more days. The staff is super friendly, as accommodated me with special requests. I will definitely be back, and highly recommend you check this place out!

Love at first bite… literally! As we drove up, I couldn’t help but wonder what lay inside this unassuming spot in the rundown little strip mall. Let’s just say… a lot of good things. The place is cute-sie– lots of little details to make it dainty and chic so a perfect spot to bring your girl, come with girls or just be in touch with your inner girl. Stopped by on a Sunday and found out they were serving brunch all day so as any foodie would… we asked for one of everything; four breakfast plates– tofu scramble, home fries, French toast and the apple cinnamon pancakes. All four were winners, all four were packed with flavor and all four left me anxious to wanna come back and try some more. Food is plated nicely so it makes for the perfect pic and service was also fast and friendly. Overall a great little find I’d love to further discover.

Yummmmm. Welcome to the perfect combination of atmosphere and quality food. Clovermint is one of those, I can’t wait to take my mother/girlfriend/friend here. Right when you walk in youll be greeted with a warm smile and beautiful décor that leaves you wondering if this is a Mediterranean restaurant, market, or café. The buffalo cauliflower is a MUST. Beautifully colored, textured and the taste is outstanding. the Hot sandwich was incredibly rich, open faced with the dankest avocado toast. Don’t forget that they have a wide variety of teas at the tea bar(tumeric, hard to find, was my choice) and coffees or expressos. Wonderful

I’m writing a novel, The Luckiest Man In The Universe(Or Not). Eating at places like this continues to confirm the first part of the title. I just use to find vegan restaurants everywhere I go. For some reason The Universe told me this was the one to hit. So Blessed. This place is quite new, limited hours. It was also a little hard to find, as the iMap said it was on the other side of the street. It’s right next to My Big Fat Greek Restaurant. Ordered way too much, cause way too much looked good. Toasted Coconut Encrusted Almond Avocado Fries(What!!!) Amazing, with Garlic Aioli Dipping Sauce. Brilliant. Turmeric Roasted Sweet Potato Medallions. Mouth Watering, Delicious, Savory. Perfect. BBQ Tempeh Sandwich. Sounds simple. Was Elegant. Beautiful presentation and incredibly tasty. Literally looked like a couple boneless short ribs nestled open faced on house baked bread, local greens, and southern-style potato salad on the side. It was epic. Unfortunate I had no room in my belly or my budget for a home made dessert. They looked really good. I will need to figure out some way to return, some day, in my journey through The Universe. Thanks Shane, the host with the most. PeaceLove

This place is SO beautiful inside and super cozy. I found myself saying«I want to live here» several times. I went with a group of 6 and we all shared our dishes. We ordered the following: Buffalo Cauliflower(great taste with a kick, perfectly cooked cauliflower), raw pad thai(veeeeeery good. I usually don’t like cold pad thai but this was delicious), bbq tempeh(super tasty and i usually don’t like tempeh), sesame seed tuna(loveeeeed it!), tofu scramble(perfectly cooked and I can’t believe it wasn’t made with eggs– it tasted and felt like the real thing), avocado fries(SOFREAKINGGOOD!!!), hummus(delish and spicy), and sweet potato medallions mmmmmm. Everything exceeded my expectations. The iced coffee was perfect as well. I will definitely be returning.

I am vegetarian and am so delighted that Clovermint is in town. It is in a little unassuming strip plaza. I have been to there twice and on both occasions, the food was delicious. The décor is lovely, eclectic and very comfortable. They play what I call ‘comfort music’, which are songs from the big band era. Love it. On my first visit, we had the ‘tuna’ salad made from walnut meat, the broccoli ‘cheddar’ soup, kale salad and the avocado fries. Everything was so yummy. The avocado fries are cooked perfectly in a tasty coating, giving a bit of a crunch. My friend loved the soup, but i found it to be a bit too salty to fully enjoy. On our second visit, we had the barbecue tempeh with potato salad. The barbecue tempeh was fantastic. So good. Any carnivore would eat that, love it and possibly think about incorporating some animal-free meals into their diet. We also had the curry cauliflower soup. It was tasty, but again, I was not fully digging the soup, while my friend was loving it long time. We had the fresh kale salad again, the avocado fries and the chocolate cake. The cake is a large piece easily shareable for 3, It was very rich and very good. The prices are not cheap, but they are reasonable, considering you are getting a fresh, clean, delicious organic meal in a lovely restaurant where everything is made from scratch. Definitely worth the drive if you are not close by.

Although they are not Officially open yet, Clovermint had their soft opening Halloween weekend. 2 friends and II went for dinner and although the menu was limited as they have not officially opened yet, the food and service was excellent. The décor is very relaxing, the music was perfect! A very nice ambiance unlike other restaurants here in South Florida. I had a cesar salad and a sunflower«tuna» bowl which was made from sunflower seeds, it was out of sight! I also had turmeric sweet potatoes that were delicious! And to dessert, I had avocado chocolate pudding sweetened with dates. WOW! super yummy! Will look forward to revisiting this eatery once it is officially open!
