I’m from New York and was visiting with my family. And Lindsey and Monique the owners were Awesome! They made us feel at home. The food and desserts were Amazing! Especially my gluten free pizza. The crust was cooked to perfection and usually never get that up here in Long Island. I’m glad I took my gluten cutter to enjoy the cheesecake and the cheesecake brownie it was all so Delicious! The pasta fagioli soup was also very good I shared it with my brother because there were only 4 bowls left. Next time I go definitely going back there.

Tucked in that strip mall facing Ocean just north of the Winn Dixie is DaVinci’s Pizzeria and Restaurant Basically it’s a rather budget pizzeria and restaurant with its pizza being New York style and advertised as such, though to use the comparative words of Unilocaler Michele S., more like the pizza you find served in Canada rather than in New York, meaning somewhat lacking in cheese, sauce and full rich flavor. Though a simple place, it’s a clean, orderly well run one or two person operation and besides pizza also serves up varying dinners such as a spaghetti with clam sauce, veals parmigiana, francese, and Marsala to name a few. It has a decent pizza parlor like sort of neighbor atmosphere with patrons generally being from the nearby Gault Ocean Mile condo developments or local shoppers just stopping by for a quick bite to eat. When I stopped by I went for a slice of their special«Grandma’s» pizza, reasonably priced at a mere $ 3.00. I found it to have a reasonable good texture with a pronounced and distinctive oregano flavor. Though good enough, nothing I would consider to be exemplary, outstanding or really true to what you might find in New York as style. I note a good number of Five Stars for DaVinci’s but in my humble opinion, though their pizza is good, nothing really wrong with it, it’s far from deserving any Wee-Hoo’s or good as it gets awards.

Stopped here for a quick snack before returning to he beach. Very friendly and welcoming service. I ordered the hot potato and egg sub and it was pretty good with marinara sauce. The portions are pretty big as well.

Excellent service and the Pizza was really good! Pizza came out hot right out of the oven. The man who waited on us treated us like we were family. Definitely recommend!

Pretty good wings, but the sauce is a little too mild for me. The medium is really like mild. Next time I’m going for the hot. The pizza’s not bad either.

It’s good New York style pizza and conveniently located near the hotels. We just got a large pepperoni with sausage. No one was disappointed. The fried mozzarella was good, the philly cheesesteak was just ok, the garlic rolls were good too, and the tomato soup was a waste of time and money. It tasted like a can of chef boyardee with the consistency of tomato paste. NOTGOOD! If you love tomato soup DONOT order it here!

Best pizza. I had the grandma slice OMG simply the best pizza! Then I had the eggplant parmesan — which melted in my mouth. Nice place. The location was convenient as well

Except for the gregarious Italian guy from Long Island making the pizza and pasta, which is pretty decent, I might add, I wouldn’t return here. The woman in front,(Owner’s wife/daughter, from Massachusetts) is a miserable person who has no business being a front end person in customer service. Would it kill her to smile, or act as if a customer isn’t a nightmare for her?! And after speaking with others who have been here, their impressions are similar to mine: get rid of her– keep the chef.

I got a couple of slices here a while back, and they were really good. So I decided to get a whole pie. And it wasn’t that good. Typical South Florida pizza place. You can’t get a good pizza twice in a row.

Very good New York style pizza. My kids loved the cheese pizza and my wife and I loved how nice the owners are. A true mom and pop pizza joint that will put any chain to shame. We will be back to try more items on the menu. So after an amazing first experience I had my hopes up for trip number 2… I ordered takeout this time and the Stromboli and wings I took back to the hotel were AWESOME! The wings were very slightly over cooked, but that is actually what I prefer. The sauce was just right as well. The Stromboli was pretty good. I got the large and it was too much for 2 people to finish off in one sitting. It was very good cold later that night though. All in all, I still recommend this little joint to anyone passing through. With the shear number of privately owned italian places in this area I would try the closer ones, but if it isn’t too far out of the way, give Da Vinci’s Pizza a shot!

Pizza della nonna is what I had and it was one of the best slices I have had anywhere. Just because I’m from Chicago does NOT mean I am a ‘Chicago style stuffed pizza person’ — in fact, I hardly ever eat it and always preferred thin. I do love authentic Pizza Napoletano del forno, and I have to say if Da Vinci is the Brooklyn pizza my New Work friends are talking about, now I know why. Really an exceptional sauce, perfect amount of cheese, amazing crust and PERFECTAMOUNTOFBASIL. God I want some right NOW!!!

Very good pizza! Service kind of sucked. We had to remind them for things and food took a bit long but the cheese bread is a must! The pizza was also goooood. Tasted like try NY pizza.

A terribly terribly average offering of pizza. Nothing to write home about, ok sauce, dough and toppings. Kind of a last resort if you’re out of delivery range for another restaurant. Delivery however was fast and the driver was polite and courteous.

Born and raised in Brooklyn and exposed to some of the best, DaVinci pizza made a solid and respectable showing. Fresh and tasty. The ham filled calzone was awesome. Crisp, tasty and light dough. I highly recommend them. Called in an order. Gal on phone was extremely friendly and delivery gal was the same. Also delivered earlier than expected. All good news!!! Will become one of my regular selections Jim.

I’m born and raised in NYC. Moved out 42 years later. We stopped by this spot I could’ve sworn I was inside an average pizza spot in the LES. Not bad for NY, AWESOME for SoFla. 3 stars for the plain slice add the fourth star for the memories.

Had lunch with family here a couple weeks back. Amazing pizza, great service, if I’m ever back in the area I’ll certainly be stopping by again. Old school style, by the slice or full pizza options, authentic style.

Great thin crust pizza! Cooked the pizza a little longer for extra crispy crust! Yum!
