Always stop by here when in Fort Lauderdale. So many memories… Will always consider this the Winter home of the New York Yankees.

Went here last year for a TON of Orioles Spring Training games, sadly for 2010 they moved to Sarasota, FL. Its a bummer all the teams are moving more and more north in Florida or moving to Arizona. The Stadium is nothing special but made a good Spring Training facility, they had the«nice» fold down seats behind home plate and bleacher seats on the 1st and 3rd base line. There is not much for permanent concessions but for the games they had set up a bunch of burger and hot dog vendors that were pretty good. They need to move some Minor League team here BUT It is kind in the middle of nowhere, located near the Lauderdale private airport. Maybe some Gulf Coast League Ball would work here

My friends and I took a trip to Fort Lauderdale to see the Twins versus the Orioles for a couple games and the place is a complete dump compared to a lot of the venues in Florida. I saw 3 games in a couple weeks here and beers were 6 bucks and the vendor guys in the seats were real jerks that kept saying give a tip. I’m already paying 6 bucks for a beer, something isn’t right when a beer can cost 7 bucks. They need a new scoreboard and the whole stadium seems like a small AAA stadium. They had about 4,000 people at the three games I went to.
