Sometimes honesty gets the best results. While Fortneys was unable to quickly (like overnight) get me the specific replacement refrigerator i wanted, their honesty and candor was first class. People should be acknowledged when they do the right thing — these people were excellent and very helpful. They provided honest and objective information. I didn’t buy, but sometimes other things can be as important. Hats off to this company.

I build a new house in Poinsetta Heights and needed all new kitchen appliances. I went to Fortney’s and dealt with the owners Dave and & his pop George.
They were very knowledgeable and had the best prices in town.
I would use them again with one exception!!! Not there choice but I wanted a U-​Line wine cooler cause I had one in my condo in DC. What a mistake the wine cooler thermostat went bad after 24 months. $ 350 to replace and install. Then to add insult the one in my DC apt went bad. What ever you do, do not buy U-​line no matter how many reviews you read.

Chose this company because they are an old, established, family-​owned business, I needed to buy all new kitchen appliances, and I was sick of dealing with Sears. Disappointed. Not much different from dealing with a large, impersonal company. And I had to hound them for information about the extended warranty that I paid for… and I am still waiting for that information 8 months later.
