Dr Gates was recommended by a coworker. He is knowledgeable, and will sit with you until every question is answered. Thought his staff was friendly and caring. Had to have surgery next door and his surgical staff was top notch. I cannot get over how great Dr Gates was. I was so scared but they really eased my fears and and every woman there had a procedure done by dr gates. And every male I asked said he was the best they’ve ever worked with. Wish he was my doctor for everything! Had to update this to discuss just how bad gates’ nurse practitioner Gail Ehlin was. Terrible Bedside Manner. Infections from surgeries happen Often enough. I had to go to the er because I had some sort of infection about a week after the surgery. She told me it «looked like the flue or cold» and whoever i went to see about that shouldn’t «pass the buck» back to her/her office. I was floored. Worst bedside manner. Worst sense of accountability to even see what the problem could be especially since I had surgery there a week ago. Needless to say she was wrong. I had an infection from the urinary catheter that was put in and it spread through my blood. As soon as my general Doctor(who could tell in about 10 min) gave me scrips for this I felt immediately better after the first dose. Dr Gates was awesome. But I hope I never need to deal with Gail again. I took off 1 star because of the experience with her. I’d give her 0 stars but gates was way too good for me to do that.

I like Dr. Gates, but long waiting time every visit. The women behind the desk are SO rude! They don’t greet patients upon arrival, never answer the phone and do not return calls.
