Gator Towing

I’m typing this review as I sit here going on 5 hours waiting for this company. I called for a tow at 3:00p thru State Farm. I was told it would arrive at 5:41. 6p no information so I call Gator. They tell me that the driver is 30 min away in traffic, not even 5 minutes from my actual location. I ask why does it take 30 minutes to get to me from two major boulevards south of me. Dispatcher says heavy traffic. Okay sure. 6:35 rolls around and still no sign, call dispatch and says to me oh, shift change happened, the new truck is rolling off the lot. I ask why I wasn’t informed of shift change and dispatch apologizes. He says new truck will be there 20 minutes. It is now 7:45 and the truck still hasn’t arrived. I don’t know how these people remain in business, but this is the most unprofessional, frustrating exchange I’ve ever been apart of. Luckily my car decided to die in a nice area with stuff to do, but this is beyond unacceptable. I could have walked to my house and back at this point. Avoid them at all costs.
Edit: After calling State Farm to find out what is going on, Gator tells them they are stuck in traffic. Funny thing is my Fiancé just drove down the exact route they are «stuck» on to come keep me company and there was no traffic to be seen. They are liars, unprofessional, and shouldn’t be allowed to do business in any capacity.

Whatever you do DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I was referred to them by State Farm at 7:30pm and was told eta 60 minutes. 731 received a text from Gator Towing stating eta 859. At 915 I called Gator Towing and was told driver was leaving Parkland and eta 32 minutes (we were in Plantation). 1001 called Gator Towing again and was told that the driver had now hit traffic eta 15 minutes. 1029 I get a call from a driver who stated he just got the call and was on his way eta 20 minutes. Gator Towing finally arrived at 1048 pm.
I have contacted State Farm to make them aware before they refer their insurers to this company!
Save yourself some aggravation and use someone else! Unless you have nothing to do for 3 hours but wait!

DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS.
The driver forced my wife off of the road then drove by and called her names. We tried to contact the owner at the number listed and the girl who answered was combative and very rude. We had to report the driver to the police and highway patrol. DO NOT USE
