I have gone to 2 other obgyn’s before I cam here. I could care less about how many people are in the waiting room etc. I was welcomed and explained everything, the Midwife treated me with respect and seemed genuinely happy to have me in their office. The ladies/nurses were very nice and personable and were easy to talk to. I am sticking with this OBGYN and feel comfortable with my baby and me being in their care for delivery. Check out the reviews on all of the Midwives… not a bad thing said and close to a 5 star rating. I am happy I chose Silvia Losada and Michele Rivera-Santiago.

These is the McDonalds of midwifery. They push to rack up bills charging for med forms to be filled out and take advantage of their mainly poor customer base. They act unlike midwives in almost every way. They push for c-sections because they generate more money and push for testing without paying attention to how those tests play into pre-existing conditions. The people that go here do so because they have no alternative. The staff of assistants was always nice and they will be missed.

Centrally located, generations women’s care was thorough, knowledgeable and were extremely friendly. We chose GWC for a 2nd opinion and were very glad we did. My husband and I were both greeted by the team there in a warm and friendly manner. They clearly know what they’re doing as they appear to work well together, from the front desk to being taken to a examination room to getting blood they all appeared to be in sync with their processes. Michelle who examined me was very comforting and asked the right questions to diagnose the reason for my visit. More importantly my husband was included along the way. What could normally be an uncomfortable visit for him was the complete opposite because they put him at ease. GWC has been around for many years and I was glad to find them when I did.

I came to generations because I was pregnant and wanted to be in the care of a midwife. The place definitely feels like a clinic. The waiting room is small and ALWAYS crowded. The waiting times were rarely under an hour. But the office staff was always friendly(they also told me the best times to come in, avoiding the horrific wait) and Silvia, the midwife who took care of me was awesome. She was exactly what I was looking for. Silvia ended up getting the call that my baby was coming on her night off during dinner, she came rushing to the hospital anyway and delivered my daughter. For pregnancy care, Generations is great, but I don’t think I can recommend them for regular check ups. They have a weird(even shady) billing system and once I wasn’t pregnant anymore, the postpartum visits became very pricey.(even though I had insurance) I will probably go somewhere else for now, but when I’m pregnant again, I’ll most likely make the appointment with Generations again.

This is basically a public clinic. The previous reviewer doesn’t warn of this! I went in and could not believe how crowded and badly lit the waiting room was. In addition, the receptionist is behind a reflective glass, so you can’t tell whether someone is there or not. I stood in front of the glass and as no one addressed me and as I quickly realized this was not the place for me, I hurried right back out again. I’ll go look up my health provider’s gyno list instead!
