Hair Couture Las Olas

This is the first Unilocal review I’ve ever written but I couldn’t not write it. Federico completely SAVED my hair color. I had gone somewhere else to dye my hair strawberry blonde (i went in as a very light blonde) and they dyed it DARK BROWN. I cried for a whole day I was so upset and my friend recommended i see Federico. It was the best thing I ever did. He fit me in the very next day, even though the salon was super busy, and within the first 10 minutes of my arrival he had already brought the dark brown color to a beautiful strawberry. He then had to do a full head of highlights because the day before they had also given me some awful streaks in a hopeless attempt to fix their mistakes. So he gave me super natural highlights to hide the awful ones I already had.
I couldn’t recommend this salon enough. Everyone in there was SO nice and helpful. They offer water and wine and work as a lovely team. Also, the location couldn’t be better.
Thank you Federico! Will definitely send everyone I know to Hair Couture.

It’s been a month and I’m on here looking for Freddy’s phone # to make an appointment for my next cut. Everyone from strangers to friends & family have raved about my haircut and how it compliments me. Freddy is extremely talented and I can’t wait to go back!

I MUST SAY, this guy Freddy is one of the best Hair Stylists I have seen and I have been just about everywhere, from the Upper East Side in Manhattan to Beverly Hills and now I live in Highland Beach (we just moved to Fl from Greenwich, CT. He did my hair by accident. I went to Las Olas to meet friends for cocktails and could not find a parking spot, so, we drove a bit further and found a spot right in front of his shop, so, since I needed a haircut and color, I walked in and he took care of me, my friend had to wait a bit longer, but, when they saw me, they were gladly surprised. I LOVE my haircut and the blonde he did, its just beautiful, the best part of it, it costed me half of what I have paid elsewhere. I finally found a very talented Hairstylist that is worth a trip to Ft Lauderdale!!!

Ever see those super models with amazing, shiny, luxurious hair and think «I hate her»? Well you too can have hair gorgeous enough to hate. The awesome stylists are talented, professional, skilled AND warm, friendly and inviting. Not a combo easily found here in under sensitized overly rude south florida. So leave the scarf and hat at home and come have Hair Couture make you look and feel glamorous.

The shop was nearly empty on a Saturday afternoon. I should have run.
For $ 65, I got a short layered haircut by Kim and she totally botched it. The cut was way beyond her skill level. I showed her pictures and gave descriptions, but she couldn’t even cut my bangs straight.
I had to go to another shop and have it repaired immediately. Luckily, I found a great stylist to clean it up. It has taken two months to start to look normal again.

TOBY! I love me some Toby. So, I had been dealing with crappy hair cuts in San Diego and was desperate to rectify the problem while on holiday in Ft Lauderdale. Yeah, you’re supposed to take care of these things before you go on holiday. Whatever. A recommendation from a lovely lady with beautiful hair got me in to the hands of Toby. Thank you Toby for listening and taking my hair to a whole other level of Fab. I wish I had the good sense to take a pic to post so you unbelievers could see, didn’t happen. Just trust me and go get you some Toby in your life. So worth it!

I work in the area and decided to schedule a haircut during my lunch break. I wanted my hair styled, not just cut, and I wanted movement and a cute piecey look. I took in 2 pics of Reese Witherspoon and asked for a cut about an inch longer. Right away the guy who took care of me (Sean) was so nice, honest and helpful with how my hair would respond to certain cuts, advised me against going too short in some areas and cut my hair wet and dry to get a real feel for how the cut was shaping up. I loved it. The products all smell amazing and everyone has a polite Southern charm about them – something I noticed when I initially set the appointment over the phone and was reminded of when I walked in. I have already spread the word and I’m so excited I finally found a place that knows how to cut layers in my thick mop! :)
