Great place for local chocolate specialties, gifts, quick snacks(of chocolate) and ice cream! Well organized and super clean, with a modern look and feel. The ice cream and cashier line is easy to approach and offers quick service. We like this better than Kilwan’s, as Hoffman’s is cleaner and a bit wider(Kilwan’s has a squashed, narrow feeling). The prices are just right for specialty desert items, and there is some bench seating outside — although walking with your come on Las Olas is more entertaining! Overall, a great addition to the neighborhood.

I stopped in here quickly to find a little gift for my dad — who loves chocolate. I was trying to find something that also embodied the Fort Lauderdale area since I’m visiting from out of town. This is a cute tiny little shop that is sure to fulfill your sweet tooth in a flash! I saw these really cool large candy bars that had unique artwork on it by local artists. You get the chocolate bar as well as a poster of their art. Plus part of the proceeds go to the artist. As a fellow artist and art lover, I love that idea!!! I would’ve bought a few however I couldn’t find one that I thought my dad would like. Each artist has their own flavor of chocolate bar so you can’t pick the artwork and the flavor, you are stuck with the predestined flavor/artwork combo the chocolate gods have chosen for you. Unfortunately I know my dad is a plain jane type when it comes to, well, anything. I know my dad would want good olé fashioned milk chocolate and these bars had some unique flavor offerings. Alas I didn’t purchase any of these. I continued perusing and I found another display perfect for gifts. I did end up finding a milk chocolate alligator and so I bought that instead. My dad said it was delicious and loved the alligator! They had an amazing array of boxed gifts available, single chocolates to choose from, and an ice cream bar. The whole package here it seems. I would definitely recommend for some tasty chocolates!

The ice cream is delicious! I had the dulce de leche cheesecake and my husband had the cherry vanilla. They were both impressive.

One word: AFOGATTO! I had just came back from San Francisco where I tired my first afogatto. Afogatto is ice cream with shots of espresso poured over(its amazing!!). After getting about 15 different chocolates, all were amazing, I tried their chocolate ice cream, super yummy, and ordered the afogatto. I got it with dulce de leche ice cream and it was great! The espresso could be a bit stronger but was still very good and quenched my craving. I am meaning to go back for more and also get a cone of their delicious chocolate ice cream. The service was great! There was 3 staff members and each one helped us in one way or another, by checking us out at the register, helping us choose chocolates from their wide variety of choices, or making our afogatto. They all work as a team to deliver fantastic service. If youre ever walking on Las Olas be sure to stop by!

Love Hoffman’s! I’m glad they opened a location on Las Olas! Watch out Kilwins! We came in on a hot evening looking for something yummy for dessert! The staff let us try a few different ice cream flavors but I ultimately decided on the lemon ice flavor. It was very lemony, but smooth and creamy; definitely not like your usual«lemon ice» flavor. There were 12 different flavor options and they all looked amazing! They have an wide selection of different chocolates, chocolate covered fruit, truffles, etc. I also like that they have many pre-wrapped chocolate gift ideas at the front of the store. Always good to know for my chocoholic friends! I also got a dark chocolate covered pretzel which was good but nothing special. I’ve had their chocolate covered fruit before and it’s delicious. Chocolate covered apricots and raspberry truffles are my absolute favorite! PS: There’s also a secret wine bar just down the hall to the right of the store. Grab something yummy from Hoffman’s and bring it to the wine bar for the ultimate dessert experience!

CHOCOLATES!!! They have truffles, chocolate covered pretzels, peanut brittle, ice cream… etc…etc…etc… This store is beautiful and clean. The service was excellent. Braulio helped me pick out a few goodies before we headed to the Wine Bar next door. Can’t get better than wine and chocolate.

Great selection of chocolate, milk or dark. A simple ice cream variety and friendly employees. Prices aren’t too terribly high for the quality you get. Worth a stop in.

People — yes, their ice cream is good — but that is NOT what you go to Hoffman’s for! You go for two reasons: 1. Get your«any day» chocolate fix! Just walk in, let your senses be enveloped by the scent of chocolate and go get yourself a few pieces from the display case. They have every chocolate combination you could want, from white, milk and dark covered chocolate pretzels to fruits and nuts and fondants, etc. Take your choice and mix it up! 2. Get a special occasion gift! For Valentine’s Day, Easter, thanksgiving, Christmas and more — they have the MOST beautiful gift baskets, boxes, arrangements, etc. And they happily take special orders. And now with new locations opening all over South Florida, there is no reason to get your chocolate and candy treats and gifts from anywhere else.

Sea salt karamallow, you can’t go wrong — marshmallow and caramel surrounded in chocolate with a touch of sea salt. Not a big fan of the peanut butter chocolate, I didn’t like the consistency. The birthday cake ice cream I sampled is also amazing. This has become my guilty pleasure when I am on Las Olas.

The only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars was there was so much hullabaloo about the ice cream there was none to be found when we stopped in. All the bins were empty. On another note, the displays were wonderful, the establishment impeccably clean, and the staff equally as sweet and helpful. There was also tasting samples available. Will definitely pop in again for another go.

Bought some dark chocolate dipped pretzels for my husband for Valentine’s Day. They were the best we have ever had. My new favorite chocolate shop /ice cream shop on Las Olas! Staff was so nice too!

Love Hoffman’s! From the exterior that is reminiscent of a bygone era to the quality of everything I sampled to the service, Hoffman’s is a gem. Prices are affordable and I found both a nice treat for myself for later(pecan turtle) and a souvenir for the hubby(white chocolate sand dollar) as well as well as had a scoop of the Hofftracks Ice Cream. All were excellent!

Small is two scoops for $ 3. You can choose two flavors. This store recently opened on Las Olas Boulevard. They will be giving Kilwins some competition. Hoffman’s makes their own dipped chocolate goodies and truffles. They also have about 10 ice cream flavors to choose from. My favorite item they sell is a coconut brittle. It is $ 10 bag. You can buy chocolate by the pound. No dogs are allowed inside. They have one bench outside to enjoy your snack. There is no indoor seating. Staff was super friendly. The only recommendation I have is that they need tops for their ice cream cups. I wanted to pickup ice cream to take home, but they had no lids for the bowls.

This new little chocolate shop is in the location of where Udder Sweets once was. Everything is very affordable and there are so many different options to choose from. The chocolate covered Oreos and chocolate covered graham crackers are phenomenal. Pretty much everything in here is delicious!!! I work right next door and it is my goal to try something new every time I come in.
