This Hudson News was quite clean and larger than I’m used to. I find with HN’s that the counter space is so limited I usually can’t even set my purse down to pull out my money, I have to juggle it, and the items I’m carrying, often because there’s not even a place to set my purchases down, I have to hand them to the cashier. So this HN having a larger counter was really a positive in my book. I was also happy to see friendly faces(which I did not find at the Starbucks next door) so that’s the extra star for me. Counter space and happy faces. Good job Hudson News.

Went to Hudson News terminal 1. Waited in line a long time to pay. Finally another line opened and a woman named Jaenel took people from end of line instead of those closer to front. When I mentioned it to her, she couldn’t care less, HORRIBLE customer service.

I just walked around this store to pass time since my flight was delayed for hours. The location was very clean. There were many things available to purchase. However the prices for items in this place is not cheap at all. It is not where you would come if you are short on funds. Although I did purchase a very nice calendar book that was over priced but, I wanted it so I purchased it. I’m sure I could have found a better deal but, oh well. I was satisfied

Typical Hudson News that are now in many, many airports and train stations. This one is in Ft. Lauderdale airport and there are locations in many terminals.(Largers stores and small kiosks as well). Snacks, books, magazines, overpriced candy and souvenir items — sundries and needed items, too and $ 2.59 bottled water. A neccessary evil staffed by disinterested, underpaid workers who are lucky to have jobs. Ah the bliss that is air travel…

Nice looking store that is located inside the terminal where the Virgin America is. As expected, the prices were higher than normal for most of the items. Surprisingly, though, there were some reasonable deals. There were some Fort Lauderdale shirts selling for about $ 10. They Tortuga Rum Cakes were affordably priced as well. Nice place to stop at while waiting for your flight.

Stopped in here for some last minute souvenirs, snacks and magazines for the plane ride back to California. One star for the rude cashier Martine. I’ll let my friend explain her experience. Gina the floor is yours lol.
