This place is absolutely terrible. Terrible service. The smug managers are terrible. Couldn’t get a drink at the bar. Went back the next day for lunch. They served me one beer, but then decided to ask for my ID before giving me a second which made no sense to me. We are staying at the hotel, a trip for my 36th birthday. Never been so poorly treated by any restaurant. Absolutely terrible.

I had to think hard about what to rate the restaurant. I enjoyed the meal, however the price I paid for it, with the service I got and the surrounding did not match. The food was good. I was there for Valentine’s Day. They had a prefixed menu. Lobster bisque. Barata salad, and tenderloin. All very good. We did a wine pairing which was $ 90. I don’t consider that a cheap price, and expect the service to be at the same level of the price. The waiter did not have time for us and could barely explain the menu. There was also a point they served on of the pairings without even telling us the wine it was. As for the ambience, I’m sure it would have been wonderful if we could have sat out on the terrace. Unfortunately the weather as bad so we sat inside. It was very loud in there and not very private areas. I feel like it was a confused place, trying to be an upscale local bar. If the prices where a little lower or there was better service/surroundings it could have been a 4.

We got coupons for the American buffet because of a noisy neighbor while staying at the attached hotel. Honestly, I would not pay full price for the buffet but it was actually quite good if you have $$ to spare. Omelettes were hearty and delicious with lots of ingredient options including jalapeños(yum). Fresh squeezed OJ was sweet and delish. Other options included oatmeal, yogurt, granola, lox, bagels, bacon, sausage etc. The fruit was so fresh; it made me sad to live in Boston where it’s so hard to get fresh ripe fruit. The servers were accommodating and checked in on us frequently.

We tried to go to the bar here three times last week as we were staying at the resort. Never got service only one bartender. Went downstairs to S3 fantastic service. Had their food at the pool. It was ok. Server was nice but not super attentive once she found out we were not drinking alcohol. Price point what one would expect at a resort.

This is the OTHER main restaurant inside the Hilton(the other being S3). First impressions are that it’s a very nice little restaurant, quite modern and simple. The main dining area is taken up by a rather larger main bar area. there is also plenty of outdoor seating, but it was rather windy up on the 6th floor the night we decided to visit. The menu is a little all over the place, from sushi to crab cakes to pasta. A wide range, yet somewhat limited in scope. Our table decided to start with a couple orders of guacamole. Served with standard tortilla chips it was tasty and obviously house made. Nicely chunky and not a hint of black oxidation that sometimes plagues restaurant guac. We covered all the bases at our table: mussels(mine), the Ocean Maki roll, a steak salad and the pasta. everyone seemed to enjoy their selections. The sushi eater was very happy, I tried to sneak a piece and got stabbed with a chopstick, I decided to delve into comfort food and chow down on a big bowl of mussels. Well, I will say the broth was lovely with a nice kick of fresh garlic, lemon and white wine. The dish came with two pieces of crusty ciabatta, but I had to ask for more before I started slurping the way to yummy broth. The mussels however were almost inconsequential. They were plentiful, but it was almost like the chef chose the smallest size he could get. Of course, I wasn’t expecting the giant green-lips, but typically the PEI mussels I see are fairly meaty, these were almost non-existent. perhaps a larger size mussel would be a better option. Overall, Ilios was a pleasant experience. Our server was very polite and attentive, although the kitchen seemed very slow. the pace of the meal seemed really off, considering there were only a few tables in the restaurant. Would I go back? Yes. Do I crave it? No. As a local would I seek it out? Probably not.

Exceptional breakfast! We stay at the Hilton Resort every time we come to Ft. lauderdale and we love having breakfast here. The buffet has the most amazing selection of fresh fruit, pastries, omelette bar, French toast bar… I could go on but I’m eating right now:) ask for Nick(from Michigan) if you come here… He is outstanding!!! I’ll write more later when I’m not stuffing my tummy.

Meh. Not great. Courteous but not stellar staff and awkward inside dining room layout. So-so food with overly-expensive prices.(Nagiri sushi starter was only two pieces.) Don’t sit on the banquette, it’s inches lower than the regular chairs at the table.

Tried this place our first night staying at the Hilton. Cool open air restaurant by the pool that was easy for the first night in. The service was ok and the food was decent. The food was way overpriced for what you get(even for a hotel restaurant). With a good food scene nearby, I would spend my money elsewhere next time.

This is the second time that I’ve eaten at this restaurant and was completely impressed again. The overall experience reminds me of dining at the Boston Ritz Carlton(back in the day) really comfortable atmosphere, over the top attentive service & fantastic, flavorful food. One of the best overall restaurant experiences I have in a long time. I wish I could give them 6 stars!

Great service, food and the staff are very attentitive. They care about the customer and make sure your visit is great. The food is good(breakfast only so far). Service is key and they are doing a good job.

View great. Came on a Sunday, great dj. Asked if we wanted bottled sparkling water, we said no, got bottled. Ordered two plates of sushi, got one. Sushi good but overpriced. $ 25 for 9 smallpoeces of sashimi. Place very quiet, we were the only people at outside tables for hours. Ordered an app and salad. Chorizo empanadas nice, big plate. Grilled veg, spinach, arugula, with bacon and pepitas not what we thought. Thinnest zucchini lightly grilled, a few rings of red onion waved over groll, essentially raw. Bacon and pepitas must have been pureed in dressing? Waiter cleared, basically told us we were done, offered no dessert, coffee. We stayed, he brought the bill. Two hours later a manager finally offered us water. Service sucks, even for Lauderdale. I wonder if the waiter has ever been out to eat.

Came here for lunch and had the chicken salad wrap. It had cashews, grapes, and apricots in it and came with a generous serving of seedless grapes on the side. Better than your average sandwich and comparable to most prices on the beach.

We recently stayed at the Hilton Beach Resort, and ate here for convenience due to a storm outside. I have a vegan daughter, which is very hard to find restaurants that can cater to all our tastes. We had the chef come out and talk to her, and he went back and made her a custom order, stir fried noodles with tofu, which was one of the best meals my daughter has ever had! I give 5 stars to the chef who took care to make an excellent meal for her, and the rest of us. Excellent food. The price for the rest of the food was overpriced, thus I can only give 4 stars, but had a really great experience here for the personalized attention to customer needs and quality of the food.

Ilios is a 4-star restaurant, with a 5-star price tag. That makes it a 3-star choice. The food is delicious and the service is great. The ambiance is nice and there are some beautiful views. Many of those same compliments can be given to several places in Ft. Lauderdale that will cost you significantly less money. If you’re staying at the resort and you don’t feel like leaving, this could be the perfect choice.

This place is a rip-off. They advertise a half price Happy Hour on speciality drinks and sushi from 4pm — 6pm, and 9pm — 11pm. My partner and I thought it sounded like a great idea for dinner. We sat at the bar and were given the Happy Hour menu. Sushi prices were $ 15/$ 16, and we were told those prices are«half» the normal price. Bulls**t. The sushi portion that arrived was what you would normally receive in most restaurants for the same price. And the speciality drink(at $ 8) barely had any alcohol in it. Very disappointing.

Valentine’s day menu was probably a good deal because it was 3 courses for $ 59 pp. oysters were unique — one set of three had an egg mixture on top, the other three had onion salsa type thing. My tuna tartare with avocado and cilantro was amazing! I’d eat that all day. Bronzino was out so I went with grouper. Tasty fish, veggies even with the sauce was bland. He had the steak and tht was dry. We had to request A1. Portion sizes are too small for me! Chocolate dessert buffet bar was what pulled me in. Nutella tart, cheesecake bites, roasted pineapple upside down was my favorite with the coconut macaroons. Yum! Ordered prosecco when we sat and got our apps before the drinks. Was thirsty for water most of the time. We went at 9:15pm so it was clearing out! Service needs great improvement to improve my rating.

Good place hard to find it’s somewhere on 7th floor in the hotel .The steak was very good but was expensive $ 100 for 2 steaks and a glass of wine. If you have a date go for it it’s nice.

First impression upon entering and being seated: High prices and muddling service. Not immediately a winning combo. First two servers gave us the wrong menus(the old menu?) and appeared to be stoned to the bejesus — on a Saturday night. Young, female manager attempted to right the ship, which was sweet, though ineffective. Music selection sucked butt — like 1960’s and 70’s ballads. Bizarre. Décor is super nice; warm and cozy. Moving on to cocktails and drinks: excellent. The honey, vodka and sparkling cocktail was smooth and delicious. Pinot Noir was a nice selection; full of fruit and light tannins. They switched servers, the the guy was awesome — he knew the menu and had a great personality. We opted for the three course prix fixe menu(choose an app, entrée and dessert). $ 69 per person including wine — that’s not bad in my book. Appetizers were really great — octopus was tender and flavorful, and the house cured salmon fresh and tasty. Yum! Moving on to main courses: tandoori scallops were cooked perfectly, with a nice Indian flavor and a sweet side dish. Above average for sure. Wife had the beef two ways — a strip and braised cheeks. She loved it — and she is hard to please. Perfectly prepared strip and tender braised cheek. Side note — kid’s mini-burgers and fries were delicious! Desserts were delicious and well made, although we expected a dessert wine with the course. None came. Oh well. I think the big problem is that the non-Hilton bar and restaurant on the first floor is an amazing scene, and it’s just not possible to compete with Hilton employees and chefs — and the canned atmosphere of a motel bar. Overall this is a three star hotel restaurant. It has higher potential, but much of it is unfulfilled in terms of atmosphere and service. Food is actually well prepared and presented; but Ft Lauderdale has a decent dining scene, and every aspect better be on target for a place to thrive.

Had the Mediterranean salad and the fish tacos. The salad was boring and the dressing did not go with the salad. The fish tacos were not bad. I just wish it came with something on the side but I guess nothing is free! The shrimp that came with the fish tacos were way over cooked.

Not impressed. The restaurant lacks vibe. The food was decent, but simply not exciting, had no zest, and the service was so hotel like, I regretted spending a dinner there, should have walked over to the Steak954 at W Hotel and had a great dinner. Dined outside on a lovely evening. Asked the host and waiter on a total of 5 times to turn ON and UP the music. They just couldn’t get it turned on! It was just so very B O R I N G. Way too quiet. And the waiter, while pleasant, had a need to tell us that he had just returned from vacation, it was his first night back, blah blah. Who cares? TMI.
