DISHONEST? INCOMPETENT? I took my watch in for a new battery. They told me the watch was running intermittently, so there was something else wrong, and I should leave it for an estimate, which I did. Who am I to doubt an Austrian master clock and watch maker since 1958? That’s a lot of experience. They called two days later and said the watch needed a new movement for $ 65. I was skeptical, so I picked up the watch and took it to Mike at Sears on Federal. Mike’s not an Austrian master clock and watch maker(I don’t think), but he tested the battery, which was indeed dead, and replaced it in 3 minutes for $ 13. Mike 5/Josef 1

Not sure why people are giving this business such horrible reviews!!! I live very close to the store, and have been driving past it for over three years. I needed to get a new battery for a watch, so I gave them a call, asked how long it would take, and then walked over. The girls were very nice, and installed a new battery, set the correct time and date, and I was in and out in less than five minutes! I will definitely go back for any of my watch needs! Very satisfied!

I give them 1 star only because I can’t choose 0. We wanted to repair a pocket watch when it fell after the chain broke, they claimed to have fixed it and when we brought came to pick it up it was not fixed. They did not fully fix the closing mechanism and the back plate cover was super loose and moved around still and did not close properly. You have to press the cover of the pocket watch really hard to close it have the time and the guy tried to tell me that’s how pocket watches are when we have owned this pocket watch for many years and know how easily it used to close it shouldn’t take your finger turning white when you press it to close because your using lots of force. I refused to spend anymore money then they were charging me and decided to look for a better watch shop to have it actually fixed and buy a good chain. I would never go here and I will never go back. I know there going to put a half backed apology saying it was some misunderstanding or some lie to have you think twice about the reviews, just do your homework on clock shops before you decide to waste your money here. It’s my fault for going, my boyfriend said they were like a mom and pop shop and we thought it might be nice but I should’ve looked it up.

From my observation there does not seem to be much camaraderie in your shop. There is only one American man who I can talk to and he has been very kind and helpful. Without him I don’t think I would ever have gotten the time of day(literally). As a customer this atmosphere is not comforting. Makes me wonder about leaving my clock there.

This is the worst run company I have ever encountered. I dropped off a family heirloom, a barometer, with a thermometer and clock. After paying $ 1,000.00 to fix the clock and the thermometer, they needed additional money to fix the barometer, they claimed they could not find record of my payments. Not only that, they were very rude. After researching my credit card payments, and sending them the information, my husband picked up the barometer. Low and behold after having the instrument for close to two years, and saying the thermometer and the clock were fixed, NOTHING was fixed. neither the clock, thermometer and barometer work. Beware of this company.
