It is shocking in this day and age that someone would still think it’s fashionable, or moral, to sell ivory. But judging by the selection of items in this store, everything is out of style. I asked the owner(?) if he was selling real ivory and he said yes. After questioning if he had any ethical dilemmas about this he quickly escalated his tone and called me a «f*cking b*tch» and told me «it’s none of your business.» However, I do feel a moral obligation to give a voice to the voiceless elephants that are being needlessly slaughtered for their tusks and that is why I calmly addressed my concern with him. My questions were met with unmerited aggression and vulgarity. He threatened to punch my husband in the face, announcing he was going to «break his f*cking jaw» if we didn’t leave his store. But not before calling me a «c*nt» numerous times. I’ve never before been called that word in my life. And would have never guessed it for a holiday shopping stroll down Las Olas.

Avoid this place at all costs. They sell illegal Ivory. This means for every piece their is a dead elephant in Africa or Asia. Elephants are close to extinction due to illegal ivory trade that supports terrorism. 60% of elephants have been killed in last five years leaving orphan babies helpless. Thank goodness there are organizations they have rapid response teams to save these babies. Please don’t shop here or anyplace that still sells Ivory!
