Pretty good grub, like most authentic Cuban joints. Nothing seemed spectacular – just like eating at grandma’s house! Close to the intercoastal.

I thought the restaurant was great. The family and I arrived in the afternoon, hungry from our travels. We had a cruise on the Carnival Breeze the next day, and we wanted to find something to do before we left. I ordered the Cuban sandwich, and was satisfied. I always love pickles on a sandwich. I also quite liked the rolls served before the meal.

Quality of the food was not up to par when considering the price. The sangria basically tastes like fruit punch…

Food was delicious! Pollo Empenadas were the best. Sangria was great but would’ve been better with fresh fruit over Canned fruit cocktail.

I had a very pleasant experience eating at Las Vegas Cuban Cuisine. The menu has a very nice selection that included all of my favorite Cuban food and also fresh lemonade. The service was great, very polite staff, very quick and attentive service. The ambiance is very nice. A good non-chain Cuban restaurant feels right being family style. This place is well decorated, the menu has a nice story about the restaurant and the family of the owners, including some modern Cuban-American history that really adds well to the experience. As for the food quality, it was nice but the only part that kept me from giving it a full 5 stars. Nothing was over or under cooked, but the flavor of my Bistec Empanizado(Empanizao) was a little lacking. The steak should get a squeeze of lime before being breaded and fried and that lime plus salt and pepper flavor should come out and not just rely on the breading, and if they did add those steps I didn’t notice it. Nothing terrible, the food was all good, some of it very good, but was definitely shy of being«wow» in flavor, honestly. I live close enough that I expect I’ll be coming back to try more items on the menu and maybe a few dishes will blow me away. If I change my mind, I’ll try to update my review ASAP.

Very disappointed. I had high expectations and they did not delivery. I thought the food was very bland and pricy for the portions. We will not eat here again.

Wonderful food and service. Both the concierge at our hotel and our Lyft driver recommended this place, we weren’t disappointed. Noël was our waiter, great guy who did everything possible to make our meal and experience a delight. We will be back next time we are out this way. Thanks again!!!

Another excellent dinning experience provided by Noël. The food was incredible! We come out from California every year and we always make it a priority to stop by and eat traditional Cuban food. Noël is an terrific waiter!!! A must do!

An OK place, nothing remarkable about it. Food was ok. And service was fast and friendly. I’m only giving three stars because I have had much better Milanesa. I would come back if I’m in the area but wouldn’t drive out of my way.

I use to go to Villas on Comercial all the time til they closed some years ago– I’ve been looking for a good cuban place since. Las Vegas is own by the people as Villas the quality is slightly better. I had the Churrasco steak — I ordered it medium but it was well done when it came to me I sat there for like 10 minutes trying to get our waiters attention it never happened, Finally I got the attention of the managers and she gladly took the plate to the back and brought back a medium cooked stake. I also had the sangria I don’t recommend it. The prices are a little on the high side. The food is very tasty and they have all the classic dishes that you’ll expect at a cuban restaurant.

Was really hoping this place was going to be my go to lunch shop, but fell just short. I ordered the pan con pollo; grilled chicken breast with onions, lettuce on cuban bread. It was a really boring sandwich. It was served with thinly sliced plantains and a garlic sauce which was also«fine». We also had the cubano; thinly seranno ham and roasted pork, pickles and mayo. I like this cubano, but it wasn’t nothing special from other cubanos I’ve had before. I’ll probably stop in here again when I’m near home and need a bite to eat, but only if i’m out of other options.

Overall it was a good experience for me. Decent food, clean restaurant, good service. But my uncle’s wife is Cuban and she had a little more opinion than me… she said the food could be cooked better. The authenticity was there but the quality and the taste weren’t up to her standards.

Met up with a Cuban friend while in town and went here. It was very good. He had like a chicken fried steak with ham and melted cheese on top. Forgot what it was called mellinissa maybe? It was tasty. Hubby and I shared a combo plate with steak, pork, and chicken chunks. Yummm. Side of plantains and tostones over the top. Delish. There is a Groupon now too ! Gotta come try it.

We mainly went for lunch here due to getting a groupon. I have eaten at this chain before but never go out of my way to come here though I really have no complaints but, by the same token, there is nothing outstanding to bring me back. We were greeted immediately when we entered, was seated right away and very quickly were brought the drinks we ordered and a basket of bread. Allen had the Chicharrones de Pollo($ 13.95) consisting of garlic chicken chunks sautéed in olive oil, garlic, spices, bell peppers and onions and on a separate plate white rice, black beans and plantains. I had the Ropa Vieja($ 11.95) consisting of thinly shredded beef cooked in a tomato based sauce and marinated in garlic, bell peppers, onions and bay leaves also with white rice, black beans and plantains on a separate dish. I had an American coffee($ 3.50) while Allen stayed with water. Our groupon was for $ 30 worth of food and our check came to $ 29.05. We were sort of ‘forced’ to order a flan as the waiter said his boss told him we had to hit that $ 30 mark. I didn’t care if the house kept the 95 cents or the waiter got it but, no, we had to order something so we split a flan for $ 3.75. Our check came to $ 3.15(minus the $ 18 already paid for the groupon) plus a $ 10 tip costing about $ 15 each for lunch which is an average price in Fort Lauderdale. The food was tasty and served hot, the service was good, the dining room pleasant and yet…

Friendly service, and nice clean restaurant. The daily lunch specials are a great deal. The Lechon Asada(roast pork) was plentiful and tasty. A bit heavy on the rice, but the maduros were sweet, tender and tasty! The cuban and medianoche sandwiches are on soft hoagie buns and not really cuban bread. This was the only setback. I’ll be back again and again.

We went to Las Vegas Cuban Cuisine based on our hotel concierge’s recommendation. I know that Florida has plenty of great Cuban restaurants and I wanted to take advantage before we left. And were we so glad that we were able to. We ordered the seafood mix in garlic sauce(a special), lechon and chicharrones de pollo. Of the three, the chicharonnes de pollo was our least favorite. I am not saying that it was not delicious — it was — but it was the least memorable of our meal. The lechon was moist and flavorful, but I am biased and still prefer my Filipino lechon. However, the seafood mix in garlic sauce was a definite must-have. They do not skimp on the seafood and though the garlic is not an aftertaste, it was not too overwhelming that one can no longer enjoy the delicate taste of the seafood. It was perfectly balanced and I highly recommend it. The staff was very friendly and efficient, and the entrees are reasonably priced. I recommend them for anyone looking for good Cuban food.

Excellent food, consistent quality. I can’t speak to the service because I have never eaten at this location but I get plenty of take out from them and it’s always been very good. Their rice is amazing, fluffy, fresh and garlicky. My favorites include Churrasco, Pork chunks and the roast pork. Their Tamales are also delicious, I usually get them as a side item($ 3) so it’s just served with onions on top, not the appetizer tamale($ 6) which is served with pork on top. Pretty good value, good food.

Came here with my family for lunch after looking at the specials on their website. We usually frequent this place when we come down to visit Florida. The restaurant was not that busy around 2pm and were seated immediately. Server was friendly and took our orders. I ordered the ropa vieja lunch special which includes rice, black beans, and fried plantains. Everyday there are different specials for lunch. I also had a café con leche which was made perfectly. I think ordering an appetizer in addition to the main course would be too much food. They are very generous with their portions and leave you feeling stuffed. The ropa vieja was tasty and had a lot of flavor. The black beans did not taste as if they were just heated up from a can and the fried plantains had just enough sweetness to finish off your palate. Parking tip: if you park on the left hand side there are quarter meters but if you wait for a spot to open up on the right hand side there are none
