Outstanding food, warm and friendly atmosphere, great house red. We have had so many things on the menu and never had a bad meal. The crepes are superb.

Really good. The escargot was good but not the best I’ve ever had. The vichyssoise was very nice and hit the spot. I ordered the sole which was crisp yet tender and buttery — the vegetable it came with were perfect! We would go back. It is a bit pricey though.

Great good and service. The food is very authentic one thinks it’s on Normandy. Had the ratatouille cheese and sausage crêpe which as scrumptious. Recommend highly

We have eaten at this restaurant so many times. It never gets old. The staff is excellent. The food is consistently perfect. The owners are warm and charming. My husband and I go there to get a piece of Paris. Listen to the music of Aznevour and enjoy the moments.

This place is so small and quaint. The staff are very friendly and the food is very authentic. You have to choose the right menu item for your taste buds because it is homemade. I will be back again. I ordered one of the crepes and a coffee(strong coffee). I This place is located in an odd spot and can very easily be missed.

I really loved this place. It is a small homey atmosphere with very friendly staff and great food. Just really great authentic french food. I’m usually not a fan of French food. However, this place is fantastic. it is really a place to try.

Just really great authentic French food. My wife recently went to this café with my FIL, and I decided that I had to try it out for myself as well. The owners have been in business for over 3 decades and there is definitely a reason why. No this place is not glitz and pomp — the café feels as though you are in someone’s house, which fits perfectly with the other fabulous restaurants on Griffin Road. The tables are small and spaced out around the dining room. Their crepes are both sweet and savory and very large portions. I had held back on coming here at first because their dinner prices seemed a bit much– but candidly, completely worth it especially for the crepes. Though some of the dishes may seem small, with a cup of soup you will be full for sure! And, you must try the soup any way. Also, they have a reasonably priced lunch menu, so if you want to try the food but have a tight budget, definitely go during lunch time. There is a smaller crowd during lunch as well– so you will have full attention of your waitress/waiter. The staff is friendly, and the owners are even friendlier.

I am in love! A good foodie friend of mine recommended I try this place. The hubs has never had French foood, and had never desired to try either. So when the opportunity finally presented itself(i.e. date with dad) I suggested we give it a try. On a Thursday afternoon, around 2:30 pm(late lunch) we were seated immediately. The waiter was very nice and attentive. The inside of the café is quaint and and immaculate. Every table was adorned with fresh roses. It reminded me of some of the British tea rooms around town; very homey and welcoming. It is charming. We were told the soup of the day and ordered the leek soup. It was light and buttery with just enough cream. Delightful to the last drop. Served with hot rolls and butter. For lunch I ordered the spinach, broccoli, and cheese crêpe. Dad ordered the sole lunch special. The crêpe was a large and completely filled with a generous portion of the cheese and veggies. The sole was cooked perfectly and the veggies were some of the best steamed green beans and carrots I’ve had. Both were delicious. For after lunch we ordered espresso. It was quite strong, but also quite good. We were able to meet the owner who was delightful. Our entire experience was genuinely perfect.

Who would have known crepes go beyond Nutella and ice cream! The atmosphere here is so cute! It is a Lovely family owned place with tons of repeat local business. For lunch the shrimp crêpe is delicious it is on the light side all while being warm and refreshing.

Very disappointed. We used to stop in for dinner and desert over the past couple of years. Last visit the place was a little busy and the owner acted like it was a problem to serve us. During off season she was happy to serve us. Left a very bad feeling with us. Food is average, soup is over salted, crêpe deserts are very good.

I am really not pleased with the visit of this place. The salad they gave me was bitter and sour. It seemed fresh, but the taste was not what it should had been. The food I got was a tilapia(I was hoping to get sole, but that was all the fish they had). The tilapia filet was placed in a sauce. The sauce lacked flavor and it did not help make the tilapia taste better or pack a memorable taste. The service was also really slow. It took half an hour just to get my salad and I had to wait another 30 minutes to get my tilapia. The only good thing was the mashed potatoes.

It is valentines day and very busy. I was disappointed as they only had 4 choices and the side dishes were EXACTLY the same. Waitress’s were nice but did not speak English and very hard to get service. Not impressed and overpriced, may give a second chance on a regular day…

I really loved this place. It is a small homey atmosphere with very friendly staff and great food. My boyfriend wanted to take my mom out to dinner and she chose French food so he looked at a few reviews and picked this place. I’m usually not a fan of French food(being French myself lol), I guess I’m over-critical of it. However, this place is fantastic. My boyfriend and I both ordered Crepes, he had the Shrimp & Swiss and I had the Seafood. Couldn’t tell which one was better. My mom had the fish dinner, which was also very good. They both ordered soups as well. My mom had the leek and potato and my boyfriend had the french onion. Pretty true to tradition. For dessert my mom had the crème caramel, which seemed more like Flan. Overall, I definitely recommend trying this place out. It was perfect for a little birthday dinner.

This is now the third time I’ve tried to have lunch at this place and it was closed. If you’re going to run a business, keep it open.

I was charged an extra amount of tip on my bill when our party of five had already paid sufficiently for the dinner. Tips are discretionary and the restaurant should not be adding them as they deem fit. We also were applied an extra two dollars per bottle in corkage that had not been quoted to us over the phone. All in all, for a filet and a bottle of wine and a half in corkage, the restaurant believed I should have paid $ 80. I will not return and I advise patrons to watch their credit card receipts closely. Also, their website does not offer an email address. As a final note, the filet was well prepared.

Nice place with a Good Food. If the ambience is important to you — go somewhere else… The service was good and the staff friendly. but the overall experience did not justify the cost.

Based on recommendations here, my GF and I went to Le Petit Café on New Years Eve. We were unimpressed. The food was passable but not superlative. The potatoes had far too much garlic, the carrots were bland, and the green beans were uninspired. The Sole was good but overpowered by the sauce. My GF is from Paris and knows good French food. Also disturbing was the use of paper napkins. At $ 50 a head, one would expect to find decent cloth napkins. To me, it was as upsetting as finding plastic utensils in cellophane. Finer restaurants charge more because they follow certain practices that cost more. A decent linen service would go a long ways to justifying the price per person. Using paper napkins lessens the experience and may have caused us to find the food lacking. For this price, I would rather eat at Joe’s Stone Crab. The service was good and the staff friendly. Le Petit Café was better than the average restaurant in the area but the overall experience did not justify the cost.

One of my favorites! Consistently GREAT food and service. Mom and pop restaurant where you meet the owners. Closed for one month every year in late July/August. Try the trout and finish with the Napoleon. Fantastique!

By way of explanation, I gave it the extra fifth star because of the reasonable prices, otherwise I would have rated it four. This place is a wonderful find. A real French restaurant located in a most unexpected little out of the way strip mall. The French food here is authentic in every way, in every detail, perfectly done and perfectly presented. It is also, as far as French restaurants go, a bargain. The house wines are good, reasonably priced, starting at $ 7.50 for a good size glass. The interior and décor, even though in a strip mall, is simple and surprising charming. Fresh flowers are on the table and the crowd of dinners tend to be rather well dress, older and of some sophistication. The menu is adequate and well detailed. The servers are exceptionally polite and accommodating. It has become a popular place, so unless you have a reservation during the dinner hours, you might not get a table.
